Sushi was great! And I am very picky. The rice could had been a touch sweeter, but was balanced and light. Perfect chew, and they didn’t over do the rice! See picture. Some sushi places try to give more rice than fish- not here!

As a summer resident, I didn’t expect to find a decent Japanese restaurant in northwestern Connecticut. But Kawasaki in Litchfield hit the spot. My sushi-loving son and I have been there many times and have never been disappointed. The nondescript ambience could be improved, but the culinary experience was always first-rate.

The sushi rolls were very small and it looked as though they were dropped in the tobiko (fish eggs), as it was all on one side of the rolls. The crab in my roll was also very chewy. I probably would not recommend this place or go back…
