Kay Rico Coffee was founded in 2014 by Justo and Elizabeth Mendez along with their sons Timothy and Daniel. Initially started in the Yellow Green Farmers Market here in Hollywood Florida. Since then, have opened a brick and mortar location here in Hollywood. Located right off I 95 Hollywood exit.

If you’re looking for a super chill environment with phenomenal tasty eats & drinks that won’t break the bank then this is the spot. I got the Greek frappe with oat milk and a corn muffin. The frappe is out of this world good and corn muffin is pretty tasty. Customer service is one of the best I have ever seen as well. I will definitely visit next time I’m in town. If you’re looking for a cool coffee spot to chill or work at this is the place. They have some outdoor seating and lot of indoor seating with plenty of books and games. I would highly recommend checking them out.

Hip and well decorated coffee shop with high quality coffee drinks and lots of seating space. Ordered what I thought was a cafe con leche with oat milk and a chai latte, but ended up receiving just a shot of espresso (I think they got confused when I ordered and instead made me a regular shot of espresso). Still very tasty, and the chai latte was great. For food got the peanut butter açaí bowl which was yummy and nutritionally sense, but the açaí block was completely frozen and had to wait ~45 minutes for it to defrost before I could really eat it. Nice quaint spot in East Hollywood. I came for the bulletproof coffee which was great. It was served in a nice coffee mug. I also had the tostada ( toast with butter) nice and crispy and buttery. Very nice ambience and nice place to take photos. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is in the back. Everyone was friendly and great service overall. The music was a little louder for my taste but definitely not a deterrent. I would definitely be back

Honestly love this place. The gentleman that takes your order in the front is super helpful and very detailed about getting your order right. If you want any substitutes or any allergies. Helps you out with suggestions. Also the people there are very nice and lovely smiles all around. The food is pretty good too. The atmosphere? Amazing. They have cute books in each table where you can write anything down or even color in some books. 11/10 recommend. I don’t know if there is a parking garage nearby but it is pay to park in the front and I would assume it is limited also. That’s the only down fall.
