My Mom and I visited Pembroke NC last week and will definitely return and eat at Kay’s Cafe. The food is delicious! You will also enjoy and appreciate the natural small town neighborly kindness of the staff! We even experienced an extra pleasure when meeting and having a wonderful conversation with the Librarian of UNC/Pembroke who had come in for a meal as well!

The food was good but the waitress was very slack after she got our drinks she never came bk to table not good at all my sister n law & niece meet me & my dad for lunch we had ate n they still hadn’t revieved their lunch they canceled the order but MS.Tammy fixed her plate fish n she didn’t have to pay but very unhappy with waitress that young girl should’ve done better!!!
