My favorite hole in the wall in Tucson! Kazoku holds a special place in my heart as my Fiance and I shared our first date here, multiple dates, and anniversary’s! Such a welcoming atmosphere and great priced food! We go just for the sushi but our friends loved the other options available since they don’t like sushi. Loved that there was something on the menu for all of us!

The food is mediocre period and the portion size is tiny. I ordered kimchi, and it was served in a tiny dish. I paid $4.50 for it, and it was the portion size for a dollar. The waitress was extremely pushy. She wanted me to order before the guests got there. Once he got there, she waited two minutes before trying to take our slip away from she came back thirty seconds later, and we gave her the slip just to avoid conflict. You can see by the pictures that the rolls are extremely tiny and mostly rice period I do not recommend and will never be going back period on a side note it was kind of odd that there was country music playing in the background.

All of the rolls were very fresh and tasty! Service was quick and attentive. My husband loved the kimchi, and we both loved the rolls. We had the Spicy Tuna, Kazuko, Y and Jackpot rolls. Will definitely be back!

We went for my daughter’s birthday because of the reviews. We were not disappointed. Even some that are not big fans of sushi loved the food! Absolutely delicious and fresh. My picky son ordered the teriyaki chicken and the rest of us ordered sushi rolls. They brought out two huge trays and it was all tasty! We rated it a 10 out of 10! Best sushi spot in Tucson and my family’s new favorite!!!

The food was quite good, I’m easy to please in that department though. The Jalapeño popper dish was very good as were the 2 rolls I ordered (crazy roll and spike roll). I ordered a hot sake and I was seved it barely warm. Service was a bit lacking and communication was difficult. Also the parking lot holds like 7 cars so it was quite frustrating trying to squeeze into the last spot when we arrived!

3rd time I have been here and for good reason! Kazoku Sushi is a quiet hidden gem on Speedway and for some reason when I have gone in, I seem to miss the lunch crowd so I have the place all to myself. We ordered the Spicy Tuna, California, Shrimp Tempura, and Las Vegas Rolls. I also had the Unagi. Everything was tasty! The rolls are on the smaller side, but reasonably priced. Service was great and very attentive, but we were the only ones there…..haha. Highly Recommend:)

Went there with my daughters a few days ago. One of my daughters and I ordered the C-3, which is the Chicken Teriyaki, Tempura, and California Roll combo. My other daughter ordered hand rolls, sushi and other rolls, as well as house salad. I was satisfied with my order. However, my daughters complained that their rolls were smaller than what they were used to. They also complained that the refill water they asked for never came. I actually had to give them my water. When we had arrived at the restaurant, we had to wait a bit for a seat. It wasn’t that there were no seats or that there were people ahead of us. I think they were under staff. I’m not sure. Service is not great there. I’m not sure if I will be returning.

They must have a fishing hole under the restaurant! So fresh, so delicious. Las Vegas roles w/tuna, crab puffs, and pan seared tuna, was the best I’ve had since Los Angeles! Ty so much! Plum wine delicious too!

The Miso soup was very good and the prices were cheaper than typical but outside of that I didn’t really enjoy much of the food. The tempura vegies were well made but the sauce was bland and didn’t add anything to them. The seaweed wrap on the sushi rolls were very thick and super chewy to the point it was almost exhausting getting through them. It also had a strong bitter taste that over powered everything else in the rolls. The fish was tougher than what I am used to getting which made the texture unsatisfying. Over all I don’t think I will be re-visiting this restaurant. It just isn’t for me.
