In Tarrytown for the weekend at a sweet Airbnb, seen the restaurant as we were coming in and wanted to try it. Started a reservation on Google but it took too long so I called the restaurant directly. Sweet lady answered and told us (party of 5) to come on in and we could be seated. So we did! THE best choice EVER!!! Ribeye steak is tender juicy and flavorful! Veggies and loaded mashed potatoes were awesome and VERY DELICIOUS!!! Hospitable and friendly staff, answers all questions. I loved the history within the house and that of the house itself! We are a 40min drive away but we WILL RETURN for that ribeye steak!!!

I tried KC’s at the Windmill today for the first time. I was able to enjoy their Sunday buffet. Everything I had was delicious. The server that helped me was extremely attentive and had a very sweet demeanor. The restaurant itself has a great setting and an old nostalgic atmosphere. I will definitely be back soon.

First time visit was a Sunday – buffet. Standard Southern fare. 2 or 3 entrees, a handful of side dishes, a few dessert options. All tasted very good. Great customer service. About $70 for 3 adults, a 9 year old, and iced tea/soda/milk.

Great food and friendly staff. Great southern food prepared to perfection. Large portions at a great price. The atmosphere reminds you of being at grandma’s house. Love the rocking chairs and bar. Not too far from i16 close to the Airbnb I’m staying at!

We ordered the Ribeye with the mashed potatoes and vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection and was as good as I’ve ever had anywhere. Will be traveling back down that way soon.
