I really wanted to love this place because they bring culture to the Central Valley and they are a small business but I was very disappointed by their customer service. When I saw them at last weeks farmers market I was excited! The line to order was about 10 mins which is not bad. But the line to receive the food took an hour. I was very upset because we practically missed the live music and our experience at the farmers market was just waiting in line. We overheard from other customers that they ran out of rice and something broke but as a customer we would have really appreciated communication from the business itself because we were ignored on the side of the line. The food itself was pretty good – we got the chicken plate, bbq plate, and the spam masubi with fried egg. The rice was dry though. In the future I recommend you guys get one of those large industrial rice cookers. When we finally got our food I let the lady handing me the food know we waited for an hour and she said “I’m sorry”. That was a fair apology but I wish they could’ve acknowledged all the people waiting on the side. We should have passed on the food and let them know we wanted a refund after the first 30 mins mins of waiting so we wouldn’t have wasted another 30 mins our time in line. Moving forward we probably aren’t going to eat from vendors at the Hanford farmers market anymore because they take way too long. I felt really bad for recommending this place to eat with my partner because we were upset by the end of our wait when we got our food and just went home. We know we are not the only people who were upset as well because everyone waiting on the side for their food was very irritated. Especially since the farmers market packs up and closes pretty early.

Attended a Food Venders event that was hosted at MIQ School yesterday, Tuesday from a flyer that I got from my church. The event started at 6:00 p.m. Me and my wife walked around looking for who we were going to buy our dinner from. We decided to eat at Keanus Hawaiian barbecue. So we placed our orders at 6:05 p.m. with a male individual which was two Short Ribs plates and two orders of Spam Musubi. So me and my walked around for 10-15 minutes to look at other food vendors while our food is being made. We came back and went to the pickup window to check on our orders, just to find out that my orders were not being done. The female individual found my ticket just to tell me that there was four other customers before me and that cannot be true if the customer in front of you already got their order. I was very disappointed at the disorganized customer service being provided because I waited 20-25 minutes for my orders just to be told that it was not being made. So I asked for my money back and left. I will not go to this vendor again.

I’m addicted to your food every time my fiance ask what I want to eat I always say Keanu’s, I’ve had Hawaiian food in Visalia but it’s not as good as y’all’s Hawaiian food. I can tell a lot of dedication and care goes into the food. ❤️
