Yum yum yum! I heard about kEEBOOM thru the grapevine. Word of mouth has made the establishment very successful. It’s not a dine in restaurant which causes only one issue. This black owned establishment has a nice menu of soul food platters and a la carte items. My first meal was lamb chops with spinach and Mac. Everything was amazing. They offer heavy portions sizes. There was enough food to share and have leftovers for a second meal. The second time I purchased the salmon roll platter with spinach, Mac and yams. Those yams should be illegal. They may be the best yams I’ve ever had. I also purchased a boom burger platter with broccoli and Mac for my son. That was so good I didn’t get a chance to taste any, it was gone but not forgotten. The last platter was whiting with same sides. The amount of fish in the platter is insane. Nothing needed seasoning, or any condiments. The salmon rolls come with a sweet tangy red sauce and the burgers have a sauce that may be mayo based. I’m guessing, bcuz my son destroyed his platter.

I drive for Uber, so I knew from doing Uber Eats the wait for your food, call in, or otherwise is tooooo long! their proportion of food is good. However, the fish needs to be seasoned, and it has that dusty tasting coating on it. The fish is NOT for me! The sides, mac/cheese, spinach was good. Overall, it’s a 3 for me. I may or may not give them another try. We’ll see!

Ordered via 7/19 via Menufy… Food was good – great and worth the $158 (tip added for pickup) I requested extra onions on Boom Burgers and didn’t get any, so I’m not sure if they just don’t have onions at all. Will ask next time. Make sure y’all patronize and tip when picking up too. Missing from pics Cheesesteak rolls, Order boom rolls and 2nd Salmon Platter that I took to my auntie.

The platter was very good. Her flavors are spot on. I didn’t like that my food was not hot. They tell you over 50 min. wait time via the internet, i follow that and my food was not hot, It was warm. I was not a fan of the soup it was giving vinegar. That made it sour, and my palette was not feeling that. The young guy at the window is not professional. He just slings your food out of the window. I said thank you, and no thank you back. When you order online, apparently, you gotta show ID at the window (which is not stated online clicking the link through IG.) So of course I didn’t have my ID with me. Signs on the establishment say, “Don’t put your phone in our faces,” yet the young guy says, “You can show me a picture or something, but you need ID.” I wouldn’t have had an issue with the ID if I knew before getting there.. I’ll try again some other time, though. It could have just been re open kinks.

I wanted to like this place so bad but I’ve had two bad experiences. The first time I tried the food .. I was referred by a friend. Food was estimated to be done in 50 mins… it took an extra 20 mins (which overall is too long to wait for food on top of my order being cold). I ordered fish , Mac , and broccoli. Broccoli was hard and my fish was over cooked. I thought maybe I would give them another try.. second time around sides were fine but fish was still overcooked (pieces were hard). I was able to try my friends order which was shrimp that was really good. The owner seems passionate about her cooking so I would highly suggest reevaluating staff and test tasting food being served to sustain business.

This was my first time ordering (I ordered via uber eats). I was looking forward to the food as I heard it was good. Sadly, I was very disappointed upon the arrival of my food. I am not sure whose order I received but it was not mine. My receipt was on the bag but tne food inside was all wrong and not at all what i ordered. I understand it is probably busy. However, whoever is putting the orders together may want to pay attention to what the customers order and ensure the correct food is going to the right customer. If I do decide to try them again, maybe I will go to the actual location to ensure I get the right order.

AYYYE YOOOOO!!!! Y’all really was not playing about this food! Everything is spot on! Arrived hot, heavy portions and everything taste fantastic! Definitely worth $30+. It’s big enough for 2-3 ppl to eat from. Delivered faster then expected. Will definitely try other things from here soon. Please stay consistent because I will definitely keep coming back! so I’ve been waiting for my food for two hours now. I order my food at 6 PM. It is now 8 PM. Why am I waiting this long for a simple platter I understand things get hectic and busy but come on you then when they call you, the food don’t even be ready nor bagged big, so I’m confused. I I try my best to support black owned businesses, but it’s literally something every time I order. There’s no type of order, especially when you have uber eat pickups and doordash people crammed up there as well. Save your money
