Overall not an awful visit. The service was poor throughout the visit. We were at the table for about an hour and twenty minutes to get four rolls and some nigiri. We did not get a refill of water at any point. Nigiri was good quality. The double rainbow and the pink lady were good. The geisha and the rooster tasted pretty poor. Both had an almost sour taste. The tables were also filthy.

Our server was very friendly and attentive. The sushi tasted fresh, delicious and unique compared to other sushi restaurants. We really enjoyed the house sauces and lemon juice they use in the sushi. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing variety of vegan rolls, which is rare!! Great price, great service, and absolutely delicious food! We ordered the veggie heaven and the tempura asparagus, both were amazing! The tempura asparagus was my favorite since it had a hint of sweetness from the sauce and savoriness from the fried asparagus! I will definitely be back next time I’m in Reno!!

A few months ago I went to the Carson location and it seemed much better. Better sushi, better service. It’s not that either was terrible at the Reno location, but part of the sushi experience is talking to your chef and figuring out what’s good and getting recommendations, and that was not possible here due to language barriers.

Best place to get sushi in Reno. They have a great variety of rolls, including a couple of vegetarian ones. The service was great as well – the ladies who served us were very sweet.

This is by far the best sushi place in town. Hands down. I have tried them all and nothing compares to this place. The price is a little much but we’ll worth it. The only thing I would of liked to see was a refill on my drink. That’s it. But would highly recommend for anyone and anytime.

As a long-time frequent customer, I find that I continue to compare other sushi restaurants to KEI and they all fall short… Sushi is always fresh and the rolls are always consistent. The staff are friendly, polite and always attentive to my needs. I have been coming here for years and will continue to come here regularly. This place has seem to have gone down hill a bit, it used to be pretty good. Went last night with my sister and the service was lacking quite a bit. The sever seemed to have no idea what we were talking about when we ordered drinks and rolls. Its took about 20 minutes to get our apps, which were some mussels, and our drinks tasted the same even though we got different drinks. The sever didn’t ask if we needed water, we had to ask. After we ordered our rolls, the sever said “that’s a lot of rolls, why don’t we split them up, and after the first rolls, I will come and ask if you want to order the other rolls” and we said okay. They served us rolls that’s weren’t ours and set them on the table and we told them it wasn’t ours and they picked them up and took the to the right table which is kind of gross. After we finally got our rolls, the food was good, but upset our stomachs later. We were full and didn’t want to order the other rolls and the server disappeared for a bit, and then a different server gave us the other rolls we didn’t want cause the orginal server never came back and asked if we wanted the other rolls. Overall the staff wasn’t the best or most attentive and it was midly busy.
