Finally found a place that serves Menchi Katsu. Will be back to try the rest of the menu. Small place with a wide variety of Japanese dishes. Curries, ramen, sushi and noodles.

I had high hopes for my experience here but I am sad to report it was just average for me. I was in the mood for some Ramen and have been wanting to check out some new places and came across Keitaro’s Kitchen.

Spilt miso, remaining misu soup tasted like hot water with just broth in it, katsu chicken tasted like rubber. Maybe the select things I ordered weren’t the best, but I do hope the rest of the menu tastes better than this

Small restaurant next to Goodwill. Parking available since it’s in a small plaza. Service was nice and quick. Food was good and prices were reasonable. They had promotion going on for free shaved ice for orders of $25+ (strawberry, mango, or passionfruit – we mixed all three!)

Nice decor and service, but the food is underwhelming to say the least. Ordered the hot tea, the garlic edamame, and the chicken katsu curry, all of which were surprisingly bland, especially the fried chicken. Had a taste of the tempura udon (both the tempura and the udon), which went similarly.

The service was great, she was very kind! I had the katsu curry and it was a good portion for the price as well as very yummy! One of my new favorite spots :)!

We’ve eaten Ramen all over Los Angeles and I must say, this was the most disappointing Ramen we’ve ever had. I ordered Tankostu ramen with pork and the servings were embarrassing. We felt like we got ripped off by this place. The ramen came with two small pieces of pork that were literally almost the size of a quarter. My girlfriend ordered the miso ramen with pork and they gave her the same cheap servings as well. I’ve never experienced servings like this in 20 plus years of eating ramen. I’m never one to complain about food but this most definitely warranted a review. $15 for this? Really??

One day I’ll try the rest of their menu but for now I always order the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and seaweed salad. To be safe, you can ask for the ramen to be less spicy (that’s what I do)

Ordered 2 appetizers and a katsu curry ramen. Appetizers were actually good but the ramen was very basic. Lacked topics. The curry was the same as the Japanese curry cubes you get and mix with water meaning it didn’t have any further depth to it. What made it bad for me though is for $17 ramen I expected a little bit of topping and maybe half an egg and at least a decent portion of chicken katsu on top. Take a chicken breast. Cut in half from from the middle. Then take 1/4th of one those halves. That’s how much I had on the ramen and noodles were all stuck together so I had to cut them which made it to no longer be the noodles I was looking forward to.
