We ordered the grilled mahi blackened and the bacon cheeseburger. Food was great in both portions and taste. It’s a laid-back, sit yourself type of place with friendly service. The atmosphere is coming along with upgrades to make it more into a sports bar very soon!

Liked it, but they could not satisfy my need for Jack Daniel’s. We had the pot roast special and enjoyed it. The appetizer with four selections was good with plenty of sauces to match the food. Annemarie was our server and was terrific, fairly new and we had fun breaking her in some. We look forward to another trip there to see how they do.

At 5pm they were already out of the special for the night. A bit disappointing. It’s a huge place with a nice stage, huge bar, darts and pool tables. Was looking for a Happy Hour place and decided to stop in. It didn’t fit my requirements. Maybe later at night it’s more of a bar atmosphere.

Live right next door to Kelly’s and have had a few decent experiences there but two weeks ago I brought a friend there who was visiting in town, the server seemed very busy and alone which is fine she came to the table relatively quickly took our drink order and didn’t come back for 15 minutes, we then placed our food order (2 of their most simple sandwiches and an order of wings.). This order ended up not coming out for an hour and a half after we ordered. To add insult to injury the server kept coming over and telling us “just 5 more minutes” for the entire hour and a half. We actually ended up getting the bill before the food because the restaurant was closing after we waited so long. Despite this we were given our food to go and charged full price with no explanation of why food took so long (it was not busy at all during the time we were there) my friends were so frustrated they wanted to leave without paying but I insisted we have patience and stay. I told my group to head home and I stayed behind. I approached the bartender and kindly explained everything I just typed and then asked why things were taking so long and the bartender took offense and asked “what do I mean” and then explained that “she can’t only speak for the front of the house” a cop out answer if you’ve ever been in the industry. I then asked to speak with a manager simply to get an understanding of what happens and the bartender refused, asking me why I needed a manager and then offered to buy me a drink instead which I declined. I was very polite the entire time despite the horrible service and terrible accountability. After I left I called back to see if I could speak to a manger on the phone and in a bizarre fashion when I asked if they were still open for me to talk to anyone they said “sorry we closed at 10 so no” – it was 915.

They had live music the night I was there, which made for a great atmosphere. My wife’s burger wasn’t cooked all the way through. However, my burger was done and was very good. Service was okay. the waitress was trying to keep up with all the tables since the band was there.

For the most part, it is just typical bar quality food. However, their friend cheese appetizers are out of this world! Try them! And also, I really appreciate the bluegrass nights- we go there just for these, basically. The service has always been top notch, too.

As a family of 4, we walked in to country music (I love country music) BLASTING from the speakers. We had to move from our original seat because we were directly under a speaker. Then we were told they only had 1 server. Ok, we can be understanding. But why did it take an hour to prepare 3 burgers & some wings? And the burgers were horribly overcooked. Won’t be going back here.
