My first time trying their food and I was amazed.. I had the turkey chop dinner and it was so tender tasted as if my mom had cooked it. The yams were perfect not overly sweet but just right and the corn muffin moist warm and slightly sweet. Also a gentleman worker behind counter asked if I ever had yellow watermelon and I responded I hadn’t, he was nice enough to share a personal container of fresh red and yellow watermelon that was so sweet. It was a healthy portion my children and I enjoyed everything.. Customer service and food top tier ‼️

Amazing!! If I could give more stars I would. What an incredible experience. The customer service was amazing, patient, professional, welcoming and friendly. The foods cost was extremely reasonable, the portion size was very generous. When I arrived the food was ready and bagged. When we got it home and I unwrapped it and it looked beautiful and tasted better than it looked. We ordered 6 dinners, meatloaf, pork chops, chicken, rib tips, and roast. The sides were yams, greens, Mac and cheese, pinto beans, and dressing. Every single dish was delicious. This picture shows a little bit of every meat and small portions of the sides.

This was my second time ordering from Kelly’s. I decided to order from Door Dash. My experience was initially negative considering the 1st Dasher stole my food. Jordan, who was the dasher, picked up my food and never delivered it to me. I spoke to a gentleman at Kelly’s who made sure that my food was remade. After several issues with Door Dash, my food still arrived to me hot and fresh. I had catfish with mashed potatoes and cabbage. My boyfriend had catfish with greens and macaroni. We also had a large tip/link combo to have later for dinner. Out of the sides that I had this time and the one previously, the greens, macaroni, and yams are my favorite. The ribs are tender and flavorful and the catfish was meaty and fried well. I wanted to post a positive review due to the good customer service and quality of food.

I just tried this restaurant out a month ago..been there at least 6 times. I have tried the ribs..cabbage..collards greens ..wings..Mac and cheese..meat loaf..mashed potatoes and every time was 5 stars!!…I always order online since I live 40 seconds from it..order always ready. I have been posting for years and this is the 1st 5 star I’ve given.. Absolutely the greatest soul food I’ve tried in years. Love this place clean and friendly worth the drive (from Chicago) and money. They have $5 lunch specials. The turkey chop sandwich oh so good. Just an amazing establishment a rare find. Good quality and amazing quanity for the price. If you’re a real soulful cooker this place will have you hanging up your apron. It’s a takeout joint..I be so gitty I eat in my car. Delicious
