Ken’s is our go-to for breakfast and lunch sandwiches in Hillsdale. Their Taylor ham breakfast sandwich (with crispy hash brown addition, of course) is perfection, and their lunch offerings far exceeded our initial expectations. Their turkey club and classic Italian are for sure two of the best lunch options available in all of town. The staff is friendly, which makes for a very good all-around experience.

I was just there this morning on my way back from LI to upstate NY. I got a Bagel sandwich with Taylor ham, egg and cheese and a coffee. Owner and his wife treated me like family. Outstanding food and excellent service with very reasonable prices. Very clean and love the husband and wife combo! Not to mention he is an Air Force veteran so we had an instant bond! Go here you will not be disappointed!

To be honest, the entirety of the Hillsdale community was proud and always satisfied with our local little deli that had the best sandwiches for the best prices since we were all in middle school around the corner at George White. It used to be a place you didn’t have to think about considering you would just wake up and go knowing you’d be satisfied with the quality and the price of what you were getting. Sadly now it’s all different. Me and my friends have tried it once or twice now since it’s opening with the new owners and we went in there hopefully for the future but it has become far from what it used to be. The female owner always seems like she is uptight and angry about something even over the phone. If you want to lose over 80% of your constantly returning customers then good job you achieved that! The sandwiches themselves taste off for some reason with the chicken being gray in some spots… and this happened on both occasions when I went. The BEC is not bad relatively the same but how could you mess that up. Prices have increased which is a shame but with rising inflation what could you expect. Very sad that this is the direction Kens went with the new owners. Hopefully we will all be willing to come back and try it again when we hear things are being handled differently.

Was a consistent(daily) customer of Ken’s since I was 13. Had the chance to try this spot out since the new owner took over. Very clean and organized. My go to is the chicken salad white toast lettuce onion. It’s actually the best chicken salad I’ve ever had. Considering I’ve owner a deli before I’ve def had my fair share of sandwiches. Also try the homemade cookies.

Honestly, I love this place! I wish it was closer to my house because I can’t find a deli that has this old school feel. I don’t know what people are talking about with respect to the owner, I never stepped foot in there and from the moment that I walked in she was kind and engaging, she even asked me for a recommendation on what to put on the radio!
