Decent food and ambiance. We ordered Spicy Miso Ramen and Spicy Kenta Ramen. The food tasted good but definitely we have had better Ramen. The place is small and seats about 20-30 people. The staff serve with a smile on their face!

Went today, staff was very friendly and sat us immediately. It’s raining, so I was looking for some hot ramen to warm us up. Started with the chicken karaage and the tempura shrimp roll. The roll was tasty, everyone enjoyed. The chicken karaage was a bit grisly and mediocre. We ordered the miso ramen and the vegetable tempura ramen. The miso was warm and gritty, as though the miso wasn’t fully blended into the broth. The vegetable tempura was nicely fried.

This place offers the best and the tastiest sushi food in m the 5 miles radius, the staff is very friendly, the place is cozy, clean and well maintain, parking is not an issue, because the parking lot is huge, and as a bonus, after you enjo the best Japanese food you can walk just 50 yards and enjoy gorgeous views of the bay.

The sushi was good. Service was good too. However, I did not like that they included 15% tip in the bill (2 people) and when I got the credit card statement they were asking for tip again. The original receipt was not together when the CC receipt came. I asked to see it again and confirmed that I was about to pay tip twice. I did not add the tip again. If I was not paying attention I would have paid 35% in tips. I hope they fix this.

Went here with my boyfriend at around 1pm on a Saturday. Place was pretty deserted, so we were seated right away. Food came quickly, though the appetizer came at the same time as the entrées. We ordered chicken Karaage for appetizer and for entrees, we had a vegetable ramen and a chasu ramen. We liked the karaage (though not the best I’ve tasted). My boyfriend liked his vegetable ramen, but my chasu ramen was meh. It was a bit bland for my taste, so I went crazy adding pepper to it. Lol. If i had no other options, I would probably come back. But I don’t see myself craving for their food in all honesty.

Quick service, reasonable prices and a large portion size. The black garlic ramen was absolutely delicious, some said the meat was too dry but I thought it was fine. Workers were kind and efficient. I’ll be sure to go again.

Kenta Ramen, their black garlic Ramen, is a rich smooth thick robust burst of balanced pork loin in a creamy layered roasted garlic flavor that blends excellently during a cold-breezy night in the bay. This warm rustic broth is a must try. Highly recommend to go out of the way to try out the ramen at ‘Kenta Ramen’.

The food quality at this place varies a bit. Sometime great, sometime not. The spicy miso ramen is my favorite. Tried tha Ja Ja ramen the other day and it was way too sweet. For those who live at this end of Foster City, it’s a decent choice for ramen locally without going all the way out toward 101.
