What a little gem , we came here for lunch for the first time and I got to say, the service, the atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious . I got the chicken hibachi meal, everything was full of flavor, the salad was tasty and crisp, the California rolls were fresh. I would highly recommend this restaurant in Newport News. This is my favorite place for sushi! The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. I always get the same thing every time: salmon skin roll, crab Maki and shrimp tempura roll. I’ve been hooked on their Spicy Kero Seafood soup lately. Give them a try and I’m sure you’ll be back!

Best sushi in town. We enjoyed a nice hot pot of green tea, edamame, and tempura for an appetizer. Sushi and hibachi were delicious. The miso soup is so good that we forgot to snap a photo. They offer take out and to go, which is well packaged and arrives with perfect timing. Delicious food and the staff are beyond friendly and know their regulars.

Excellent customer service. The waitress was hilarious. She came out to the table with our second order of tempura shrimp and vegetables and said “We had a change of chefs, this chef was skinny so the shrimp are skinny.” LOL love it! The volcano roll was amazing and the ginger house salad was great. The rainbow roll was a little off from what I would expect. It wasn’t as cold as you would expect from fresh sushi but it was alright. This was a great experience, considering our regular place was closed tonight. Thanks Kero Sushi! 😀
