New to the area and wanted to stop in for a late breakfast. We easily found a booth and sat down. When we arrived they were setting out food for the lunch buffet, smoked ribs and fried chicken with many sides and salad. We chose to order from the menu and got the chicken fried steak and eggs, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with onion rings and a 3 piece french toast. The chicken fried steak was AWESOME! 99.9% sure it was not some frozen steak and was hand battered as were the onion rings! My eggs were done perfectly and the French toast was delicious! Everything came out hot and was well seasoned! I don’t recall our servers name but she was very sweet and attentive. We would definitely go back and recommend.

A little hard to spot from the road. Plenty of parking to older building remodeled. Great buffet and plenty of seating for large parties family friendly. Staci our server was fast , friendly and helpful she made sure our meal was perfect. She told us about all the specials and service was flawless! Breakfast was very reasonable, great portions and prepared well. Coffee was hot with plenty refills. Great mom and pop spot . Support the locals corporate has enough. Highly recommend!

Best succotash I have ever had. Best I can remember anyway, and I have a special place for food memories. Best fried chicken South of Savannah. The meatloaf and chop steak are great, especially when mingling with thick brown gravy, perfect white rice or excellent mashed potatoes. The best cooking grandma you ever heard of would be proud to eat here. In fact, if I had not seen a grandma walking into the not overly welcoming building, I may have missed out on this throwback gem of a country restaurant. Don’t you miss out, I’ll tell you more, but trust me, you won’t be disappointed unless all you eat is collard greens; the collard greens were not the way I like them, but everything else is brag worthy. The sweet tea is just right and better than the best of the store teas, Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey, Pure Leaf, or even my #1 Milo’s. My family was hesitant to go because it is a buffet, but I pressured them and they enjoyed their meals too. You can also order from the ample menu. I have not once been disappointed with the fare in my half dozen visits. Nice and attentive staff. They are constantly replenishing the food and eager to answer questions and check on menu items. If you are in the Keystone Heights area and in need of a meal, the Keystone Inn… will offer several dishes for everyone from Grand Pops to Grand Kids. The name is long and hard for me to remember, so I call it Grandma’s Country Bunker Buffet and Bistro; that’s what I would call it if I owned it. I would also add some curb appeal, cause it resembles an abandoned building off old A1A. Get over your first impression and step into 1960’s American cuisine…think of your grandma and smile. And get stuffed.

This used to be a wonderful place with great food. I was so excited to come back with the family only to find the place dirty, and water leaking all over the floor from the buffet. All the fried food was nasty due to what looked like being cooked in old fryer oil. Prices are up and it cost way to much to have such nasty food. I basically uasld pudding and some pickles. I plan to never come back.

What a very pleasant surprise. First time eating here. Great food and very inexpensive for what you get. Best onion rings ever and awesome service!

Quaint, family run restaurant where every staffer participates in caring for every person who walks in the door. Good food with that level of service is usually only found in high-end establishments. We love this place!

I should probably make this a 5 star, but I’m going with 4.5.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. The first part of this review does not relate to our food, but does weigh heavily in my overall review. At this time with the resurgence of COVID 19, I didn’t see any social distancing, masks being worn by customers, wait staff or food handlers. No disinfecting of menus between customers either. I wore my mask until I absolutely had to take it off to eat. Please…everyone take proper precautions. Staff was friendly and efficient. I ordered eggs, bacon, grits and biscuits. My husband ordered eggs, ham, hashbrowns and biscuits. My eggs were served hot, light and fluffy. A thousand points for that! Grits were good and I personally didn’t care for the biscuits and bacon. My husband thought both were good. He said the ham was good also. Means a lot from him. The price was great. That all being said, I may return to try it out again, but for now, my review remains at two.

Unfortunately it was simply not good in all aspects. Very dated and unclean building, although staff was friendly there virtually wasn’t anything in the way of service other than seating, and paying. Food was not fresh, and not good and made me ill. Won’t be back.
