Keystone’s Mac Shack, an extension of Keystone Bar & Grill, is a fast-casual restaurant established in 2016 by Four Entertainment Group (4EG). The retro-style space located directly across from the University of Cincinnati’s campus embraces the idea of a quick stop for comfort food.
The menu features eight different varieties of Keystone’s signature award-winning mac and cheese, plus a unique mac featured daily, created by our experienced chefs. All of the Mac Shack’s menu items are lovingly prepared and made from scratch using fresh ingredients, many of which are locally sourced.

I didn’t realize it was Mac Monday until I put in my order and the employee kindly told me about it. I went with the Fleetwood Mac which is pesto, tomato, and mozzarella. I wish it would’ve had a little more tomato, but overall it was high quality Mac and cheese.

My friends and I have been going to Mac Shack for about a year and a half now, and I’ve enjoyed most of my meals from here. I highly recommend going on Mac Monday, where large macs are half off with drink, but I think that the food is bit over costed on any other day of the week. I really enjoy most of their rotating weekly specials, but have had a few orders where the toppings were pretty sparse. Overall a nice place for takeout. The new location has more space to dine inside as well.

Refer to allergen notes below. The gluten free pasta is not safe for those with gluten sensitivities due to using the same water. They make no mention of cross contamination potential on their online menu. Ironically they still upcharge for it.

Amazing food ordered the bb King and powerhouse absolutely amazing definitely worth our hour drive I honestly can say I’ve never had any better tasting Mac n cheese. The young guy there deserves a raise lol he definitely knows what he’s doing and he was the only one there and got them in a normal time frame. Thanks and will be back for sure

Got the Pink Floyd Mac with jalapeños. The serving was so big! I didn’t even finish. The Mac was creamy and the baked cheese on top was incredible. I got in just as they opened so everything was really quick. I love how many toppings there were and how close it was to campus. By the way, the leftover Mac reheats really well – 7 min at 350 was perfect.

Look I love this place truly! It’s a great gem here in our city. But tonight we ordered for our family spent over $70 for it not to be made right. (Missing toppings) as much as I could cry and give them a 2 star for a simple mistake I won’t because honestly their food is good regardless! But I do think the should answer their phone so people can call in.

Went here last night for a trivia that was being hosted. Was advertised to start at 8 and we arrived at 7:30. The drinks were good but expensive and staff was friendly, but the food was just awful. Their quesadillas were essentially a tortilla with boiled, unseasoned chicken and nothing else. It was inedible. That said, by 9:30 we left without trivia ever starting. A server said that the guy that was supposed to be running it was late around 9, and had previously told us they moved it to 8:30. While I don’t blame the restaurant for the guy flaking out, I do blame them for never once making an announcement that it would be delayed or communicating what was going on. We waited longer than most for it to begin to give the benefit of the doubt, but tons of people left by this point because we were essentially left in the dark about an event that never occured. The restaurant closes at 10, so I doubt it took off after we waited for 2+ hours either. For how expensive the drinks were and how bad the food was, it felt like a rip off considering we never would have eaten here if not for the event in the first place.

Craving some good ole Mac n cheese? The Cordon lightfoot (I add onion) is one of my favorites! The powerhouse is another top of my list. The house made Oreo pie is delicious as well! Go get you some comfort food, sit out in the courtyard and people watch.

Sooooo good. I got the Pink Floyd (bacon, caramelized onions, and cheddar) and I loved every bite. If you go on Monday’s the large is half priced with a drink purchase which is an amazing deal. Will definitely be back again!
