This place is awful! They’re always out of things. Their prices are ridiculous now! The only thing they offer for sides is carbs. There’s not one green thing on their menu. The colonel would roll over in his grave. Nearly 12.00! For three pieces of chicken dark meat, nasty corn, slaw and shriveled up biscuit!

My grandson walked to the KFC on Staunton Ave in Charleston WV . He had his own money and wanted to get a snack for himself. The manager at this store took his order but got the order wrong. He charged this young man who just turned 10 less than a month ago $26.00 and gave him not only the 8 piece nugget which is what he wanted, but also gave him an eight piece Family chicken with family size mashed potatoes, cole slaw,6 biscuits and gravy. The poor kid did not question the authority figure who was telling him what he ordered instead of making such what he wanted. I called the store to tell them what happened and spoke with a person who said he was the manager. This “manager” was very aggressive and rude would not entertain the idea that a mistake had occurred because HE was the person who took the order! Right before he hung up on me he told me I shouldn’t send a child to order our food !! As I stated earlier and also to the”manager”, he went on his own to get a snack using his own money and was charged $26 for KFC mistake!! I have never had a manager act so rude and refuse to admit a mistake had occurred! What ever happened to the customer is always right??

Me and my husband went to the drive thru to order chicken nuggets and chicken strips for a late dinner. Around 8pm. Before ordering, we were told that it would be 7 minutes for bone in chicken. Ordered an 8 piece chicken nugget and was told to hold on. After a minute the person taking our order said it would be 7 minutes for those as well. Then she said that everyone kept ordering chicken tonight. My husband chuckled and said well it is a chicken place. She then said yes, and there are 3 other chicken places to order chicken from. My husband then said ok, we will order chicken strips and she said we only have a couple of those left. My husband said that it was obvious they didn’t have enough food to serve us and we left. I am not in the restaurant business but I am amazed at the lack of planning and the poor customer service this lady provided tonight. This isn’t always this way at this KFC and most times I have been pleased with the food and service. If this was the first experience with this restaurant, I would not ever go back.

Can’t go wrong with the Colonel, BUT we tried using a coupon and were told it didn’t apply to that location as it is a franchise?? Huh? Tight budget and rare eating out experience ruined by being forced to pay double for the bucket in the end. Had just been told my cancer had returned. Fiance was trying to cheer me up. We didn’t want to waste a chickens last hurrah so we paid far more than we could afford. Kind of screwed up the whole experience for both of us.

Employees are confused. Employee raised her voice with me and her coworker but justified it saying she just “talks loud”. The whole confusion was over if an item on the counter was mine. I still ended up not getting the correct items I ordered. Just avoid this place. I’ve had a few bad experiences as far as food quality here in the past. Being yelled at by an employee is the last straw.

So I ordered a 16 piece family meal and a 12 piece family meal paid $81 and some odd change no big got a large family to feed. I live 45 minutes away but it is my closest KFC my problem was when I got home I was missing a large side 14 biscuits and my dipping sauces. I tried to call to no avail. So drove 45 minutes back. Still kinda mad that going back down the road count the biscuits only got 10. The dipping sauce wasn’t the one I wanted that they didn’t bother to tell me originally they didn’t have because the truck didn’t run. So craptastic end to my day.
