This is one of the BEST KFC restaurants in the area. I went yesterday, and wanted to get the best deal on their nuggets. The cashier took the time to tell me what was the best deal (and how to order it since it was an online deal) it was made fresh and she was nice enough to offer me a drink while I waited. We always have had a good experience. One time they did miss part of our order, but we called and explained the situation KINDLY and they offered to replace the whole meal so it would all be hot for us.

Best KFC in the tricities area. Placed my 1st curbside pickup order here today using the app and when I arrived at the restaurant they immediately filled the order and everything was correct, fresh and packaged well. We easily fed a group of 6 hungry people with the 16 piece tenders family meal. Staff was very kind and courteous and double checked our order to ensure it was correct. The store itself is always clean and very will lit and decorated. The management and staff do an exceelent job and this is the only location I will go to because of them. They really care about each and every customer that walks in the door or comes to the drive thru.

We have always had to wait for our order and been disappointed with the food quality but we decided to give them one more chance. Once again we had to wait 15 minutes and they still forgot our biscuits! My order was over $50 and we will not go back.

Of course Father’s Day is one of the busiest days of the year and this new location in Boones Creek was short on staff but not on service. I watched this entire restaurant work tirelessly with every customer and smile the whole time!!! I must say that KFC outdid the major restaurants this year!!! I love KFC. I have since I was a little girl. Coming home from school to fi d a bucket of chicken on the table would be the highlight of the month for me because we were poor. I still love KFC and it’s sad that I can no longer justify the cost for the small amount you now get. I see why your no longer ever busy and It makes me sad.

I typically like KFC. However, the one at Gray is pitiful. I’ve eaten there several times and have been surprised by how much more the cost of items are compared to other KFCs in the Tri-Cities. For example the chicken breast box meal is $.089 higher than the one in Kingsport. Today, I got a bucket of chicken. The picture below shows a leg, breast, and thigh compared to a quarter. I think they are using pigmy chickens. On top of this they shorted me a piece. When I opened the box it was half full. On top of the small quantity there was no flavor. I think they forgot the spices—it was a miserable meal for our family.

Hey! What can I say? My first job, 50 years ago, was at KFC. Extra Crispy was just introduced back then, but now they have pot pies and sandwiches! The fries are much better, too! And desserts! What’s not to like about KFC??? I love this place, even if I don’t know the secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices!
