This location turned out to be a total disappointment. I ordered a 4pc All white chicken with Cole slaw and Mac and cheese with a biscuit. The sides and the biscuit was about the only thing that was edible. The chicken was dark and greasy, the breading was dark and greasy and tasted bad. I wish it was possible to give negative stars. Due to the girl not listening I ended up with a mixed box of chicken but it didn’t matter due to the chicken not being edible.

Drove through and stopped here for lunch. When I was ordering I had ask for a famos bowl I asked for the chicken on the side (I don’t like them soggy). She decided to tell me it’s only like 5 little piece. Then I had to tell her that I know I just want them on the side( I shouldn’t have to convince her to give me the chicken on the side). Then we sat down my daughter realized there was bone in the chicken pot pie. When I showed her the bone. (By the way NONE OF THE CHICKEN WE ORDERED SHOULD HAVE BONE) She said she apologize and that they do the best they can. Offered me to remake it but at this time or if I wanted something else. I said no just give me my money back for the pie. She wanted me to walk all the way to my table to return the pie to give me my money back. When I told her seriously you have a bone in your pie that my daughter bite down on and you want the pie back for a return. I told her I was going to call corporate she pretty much shut me up and told she doesn’t want to talk about it anymore. I told her I felt dismissed and she said she didn’t want to argue umm letting me be able to speak my mind is part of the job and I wasn’t being horrible. Just didn’t understand her reasoning behind her doing her job. This manager is a joke! 1st off just because you apologize doesn’t mean your sorry. It’s very dismissive as well as not taking care of your mistake not by offering food thats possible not well executed in the 1st place its a uncomfortable feeling to know that you left that big of a bone and 2 other bone fragments and ligaments. To get more food from that restaurant.

Our family of five arrived about about five minutes til close on July 16th, and I hope the owners take note of who was working, because the whole crew was so kind and gave great service, despite it being closing time. Thank you for such a great experience, and please give all the workers from that night a big pay on the back! Four of them wished us a good night on our way out as well- so friendly!

Ordered the 8 piece strip and large fry through website. They allowed me to pick up my “quick order” through the drive through. Strips were great fresh and seasoned well fries however tasted and looked a bit old but it could be because they were sealed in the bag with heat causing them to be soggy and old tasting.

I being vegetarian ordered a famous bowl with the meat on the side. The order came with the meat in the bowl which was incorrect. The leader on duty said out loud you can’t order it as such. I’ve gotten it like that before. The person that took my order apologized. She was very polite and smiled at the customer which is not normal in this place. Thinking she was probably new. They really need more employees like her. I said don’t apologize because that is a stupid thing for the leader to say. With incoming future competition KFC days are numbered. I have tried to patronize them but they don’t appreciate business.

Employees did seem to like that she had to work. Her customer service was bad, really bad. It’s like we were bothering her to take our order. When no customer was in line, she leaned on the counter, talking on the phone. Not place I would visit again

This place is horrible. Food tastes like burnt leather. Management and employees don’t know how to take care of customer complaints. Night manager on 7-14-24 needs to go back to management training. Management and employees are extremely rude. I would not recommend this KFC to anyone. Go eat at McDonalds.

EVERYTIME we try to order from here they are out of what we order no matter what it is. I understand late at night but 2-3 in the afternoons is just pitiful. And then you look inside and all the employees are setting around playing on phones. Just left there and one girl was actually sweeping/mopping and 3 others was setting at tables on phones. WOULD BE GREAT PLACE TO OPEN A KFC WITH BLUE OVAL COMING IN 14 miles away.

As a Kentucky native, who actually met Colonel Harlan Sanders and fed his ducks growing up, I have nothing but love for the familiar red and white KFC. Their mashed potatoes and gravy and cole slaw still rock, but their chicken ain’t what it used to be. I guess when you have 53,000 restaurantsacross 155 countries, quality control gets complicated. And thank you for the Yum! Center hosting UofL football and basketball. If this were a review of Yum! It would be 4.5 stars thanks to the “ever delicious Taco Bell” (Ricky Bobby).
