I went into KFC on 54 in Owensboro with my young son tonight, stressful and tired, not wanting to cook and not wanting to spend a fortune on too much food that I knew would ultimately be wasted. I stood at the counter for a good 15 minutes, trying to come up with the perfect combination of chicken and sides to feed the two of us without any leftovers. I can eat one of their meals but my son is five – too big for one of their kid’s meals and too small for a grownup meal.

I am disappointed every time I come here. The mashed potatoes were so runny, Would not hold gravy. In the chicken stock that they use is really small. The restaurant is super clean and modern which is the only reason why I gave it two stars. Nothing about this meal put a smile on my face. Well maybe the biscuits were OK. I will not be spending $40 here again

Just made mobile order said order was completed. Went to pick up my food and was told they could not fulfill order. Card was charged and was told they could not refund since it was mobile order would have to call to get my $50 dollars put back on my card. Heard her telling staff they where out of everything. There was still 2 hours before they closed. So my order was given away since on the app it said it was completed.

It was bad. They only had chicken wings so I settled and was told to pull forward cuz they were holding 6 minutes on biscuits and 20 minutes later I called and yep….totally forgot I was even there. Then gave me to Xtra biscuits to go with my super cold 3 wings and fries that had been sitting 3 forevers. Smh

I am currently sitting in my car waiting for chicken to be done on a Friday night at 7pm. Every time I come here there is no chicken available. This is a restaurant which primarily serves chicken. I also have witnessed three families go to the door to enter the restaurant and the door is locked. I repeat it is 7pm on a Friday night. The closing time on the door is 10pm. I am so over this restaurant. Why be open if you do not have chicken? This is so unprofessional. They even had the nerve to remodel the restaurant. Why? What was the purpose of you cannot serve food in a timely manner ?

Went for lunch they had just opened 30 minutes prior to us being there..my fries were old and cold. My kfc bowl was hot n fresh so was the chicken. My husband got the new spicy chicken twisters were ok..the tortilla was cold and didn’t wrap right they crumbled because it wasn’t heated before hand! Please heat the tortillas before making them they could be a lot better if you did! And if you know something is cold and/or old please just throw it out. Most customers don’t mind to wait for fresh food just be honest with them!! Inside was very clean though. And staff was very nice.

I went and ordered 2 of the “bowl” meals for my son and me. He wanted Mac and Cheese, and I added a side of sweet corn. They were both small helping but cost $2.49 each. The corn was very nasty, and looked like it had been in the warming pot for days. Very upset, and wish that management could get this fixed before the store goes under. Click on the corn and let me know what you think. Sadly the corn in the bowl looked the same.
