The “Crispy” Chicken Sandwich should be renamed to the Soggy Chicken Sandwich when it sits in the closed bag too long under the warming light, waiting for an unsuspecting customer to purchase it. KFC is often hit or miss, it lacks consistency from my experience.

If I could give a zero star review I would. I am not normally one to post reviews, especially not bad reviews, but I had one of the worst experiences at this particular KFC. Waited 40 minutes to get the food and my sandwich didn’t even have chicken on it… waste of time and money, do not go here

Crash
Pull up at about 3:55, on a Sunday and the place is DEAD. Place an order for a 3 pc tender meal and a sandwich. Could barely hear the speaker. Tells us that the tenders had a 3 minute wait. We were ok with that. We pull up, pay and are told to pull around and wait for the tenders. We are given our soda. It’s hot out, and 15 minutes roll by. Finally someone comes out and tells us the tenders would take a few minutes and emphasized twice they were making them so they’d be “fresh.” The whole time we are sitting there no one pulls up or goes inside. Three more cars pull up and are directed to wait by where we are. I wait 5 more minutes and finally go inside. There isn’t a single customer inside and no one at the counter. Finally I catch a sheepish look from the woman who took the order. I told her we’ve been waiting 20 minutes in the heat with the car running and the ice in the soda was melted already. I see they are just then bagging the order. They apologize but offer no other solution. We get the order and the sandwich had been waiting so long that the mayo turned to oil and the wad of fried meat was barely warm. The tenders were blazing hot, but it was obvious from the inside looking like chicken jerky that they had been cooked, cooled down and were reheated by dropping them back in hot oil.

This KFC has gone so downhill. All the employees care about is closing down. I got there tonight an hour and 15 minutes before close. Sat at the speaker for over 10 minutes and nothing. One other car in the drive thru. I’ll just give up on getting that classic KFC food I grew up on as every Peoria location is like this.

I just went through their drive-thru at 6 pm and they had no fried chicken. How could a KFC not have fried chicken? Who manages this place? Better yet who would own a place and allow it to be managed like this?

Drove thru the drive up. Had to wait to get served to place my order. Then, when I got my food, the chicken was burned. The chicken tasted burn and looked burnt. This is from the grease trap not clean out from the residue from the chicken batter on the floor of the fryer. When you don’t clean that out, that gets cooked over and over and gives the chicken a bust taste. Was very unhappy, for we were hungry after a long drive from another city.

Workers were completely overwhelmed. I ordered online and me and the other people weren’t acknowledged for 30 mins. I finally was able to get through online and cancel my order. Don’t come here. They need more workers or something. I felt bad for the people working here.

Had to go though drive thru because they would no let us walk into the dinning area to order. Got up to window and asked if I could do two separate orders and she told me no one per car. Ordered our food and after she handed my card back I asked her if it was too late to have no gravy on my mashed potatoes and she didn’t care. Gave us the food and we drove home. Get home and there is no ranch after she asked me what sauces, I ordered raspberry tea and got what I am pretty sure is pink lemonade, and the bread for one of the sandwiches had mold on it. Terrible experience all around. I will never be back.
