Went to Kentucky Fried Chicken in Yucca Valley at 6pm on a Thursday and they said they were out of chicken. Incredible! We went elsewhere for our food.

The chicken sandwich was dry, the filet was a little tough, the bun was dry. Returned the lemonade for a watered down Dr Pepper, because the lemonade tasted like water, no flavor and Watery. Seems like there is a problem with the soda and lemonade dispenser, could be clogged with syrup in the lines and only the water got into the cups. The nuggets were perfectly delicous, they were the only good part of the meal.

The food is good.. Problem is they can only fill 1 order at a time.. I’ve waited here a few times to many. Last tine I waited 15 min and got the wrong order. The workers are friendly and kind. As an ex kitchen manager. I would say, This place needs a good manager. Also it’s only drive thru.

Only open for orders from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm, drive thru only. Don’t attempt to enter the dining room unless you want to be berated by Chicken artist’s. Place is a health hazard, only two workers there seems to care about service, rest of the crew seems high and disinterested. If you dare step foot in the dining room (even if the DOOR is open) they will treat you like garbage and act like the chicken police ♀️. Have no idea how this place makes any profit, seems like a front for something else.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They open super late and close super early. They never have food or are even serving customers. You go through drive through and they don’t even have the courtesy to get on the mic to say anything to you. Like ok you don’t want to work or you supposedly ran out of chicken at least come tell the customers. I say don’t bother going here.

Unfortunately there doesnt seem to be any kind of coordination going on there between managers or supervisor’s. My order was given away and when adressed the day it happened, i was told we could get it remade. Tried to get the remake the following day and was told no due to staffing issues and was asked to come back the next day, was even asked for my info which i gave. Tried on sunday right at 12pm when they opened and the girl in charge said it couldnt be made since her cook walked out on her so she had to close the store due to staffing issue for a few hours. Today i called and was told (with the district manager in store) that orders could not be remade if put through the KFC app but we are welcomed to get a refund for the order that we never got but was promised to be remade. When you walk in the orders for pick up just sit at the front so not surprising its easy to take an order thats not yours. You just need to go up there, read a name and tell it to the cashier and you have a free meal. Definitely wont be back

If I could give less than one star I would. When they let someone steal our Pick Up order worth $60 all they said was there was nothing that they could do since they were going to close in half an hour and were running out of chicken. Then they refused to give us a refund since we placed it on the KFC app or let us reorder. Absolutely ridiculous.
