We’ve been wanting to try Kha Thai and we were so happy with our dining experience. Dave was our server and he was great! He was attentive and helpful with lunch suggestions. The food was really very good! We the cashew nuts chicken, chicken pad Thai, the broccoli beef, Thai fried rice, and pad woo sen along with the crab hoppers and the vegetable spring rolls to start with. Their menu is so full of options that sound amazing and I cannot wait to go back and try some of them. The space is inviting, the staff is friendly. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Ordered wings, fried egg rolls, spring rolls and pad Thai. The only thing worth eating was the spring rolls…they were actually great. The 5 wings were not much bigger than my thumb and had the standard store bought sweet chili sauce drizzled. The fried egg rolls was just ok and served with the standard sweet chili sauce. The pad Thai was a mushy mess because the noodles were over cooked, many places overcook their noodles and they just disintegrated. Spring rolls were very fresh and the peanut sauce was 3.5/5.

The food is decent for the area. The lunch menu is a good value. The additional curry puff pastry was not however. Way over priced for the quality and size and dough tasted old or not very well prepared. The staff was running around with no cadence for a slow late afternoon, in sure they’ll sort that out in no time. They were all very nice when I was being helped.

I forgot to take a pic before I started eating but this dish was delicious! It’s the cashew nuts chicken and I got a medium spice level. The chicken was so crispy and the veggies and rice were cooked perfectly and it had so m in flavor. I will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere in here is so nice and it’s super clean. So glad to find a Thai place close by.

One of the best Thai places on the SE side of town. I’d longed for something closer to home so I didn’t have to drive to Houston proper for good Thai. This place is it! Don’t let the strip center it’s in fool you — the restaurant inside has a much better aesthetic than the area it’s in. Food is excellent and the service is great. There’s a full bar too! More people need to learn about Kha Thai so they can stay in business!!

Food is good been here few times. Only thing I would like if the refilled my water an do the old way for the shrimp pineapple fried rice which is cut the pineapple like a square inside and then put some rice outside the place as well which was amazing!! Would recommend and would come back!

I loved the ambiance here. The service was excellent. This was probably the best Thai I’ve had in Houston. Every dish was packed with flavor. If you like spice, I’d order hot with your dish. We ordered the chicken satay, crab hoppers, drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice, and yellow curry, and honestly, I’d recommend any of them. I’d love to come back to try the rest of the menu! Highly recommend!!

Ordered to go so wasn’t in there to sit down and eat. But during lunch time it was not crowded. Food took a longer than expected but food was good. Only minor thing was my Pad Se Ew, the noodles were a little burnt tasting. The Pork Belly was delicious.
