I’ve visited this spot many times. The process is simple, you choose your dish, served over rice, and they have a range of spice levels available. These are indicated with different colors on the dish name tag, so it’s really easy to find something you’ll love. The place isn’t a sit-and-serve restaurant, you grab your food and seat yourself, and clean up after. It’s a perfect spot for a no-fuss lunch or an easy dinner. It’s also good for takeout and delivery!

The taste of home for me! Have been looking forward to eating here for a little while now after seeing all the food reviews. Recommend you know what some of the dishes are/taste like, otherwise you’d be gawking and trying to figure out how each dish tastes and hold up the line (counter area is a bit tight).

One of the most authentic and good value place in Thai town! Great service despite being a quick casual place, decent seatings available for group and individual (counter seating facing the wall) wide selection of sides/entrees/non-alcoholic drinks such as Thai Iced tea, Thai Iced coffee, longan juice), and desserts/appetizer option to go.

I love their food! It’s authentic with a lot of herbal aromas and their food was not sweet! These days many Thai places add sugar to every dish which I hate so much, but Khao Kang doesn’t do that! Bought a Togo box with tree items, one Thai iced tea, and a pandan cake (which was really good!) Al together for only $26! Fair price. Definitely will go back to try more different items!

The food was great! I expected the experience to be slow based on the smaller seating area and the ordering style, but the staff worked in a very timely, inviting manner. All the dishes were very good, especially the curries and the ground pork. To my understanding, however, the menu rotates so your mileage may vary. The value and portion sizes were great, you can get 3 items and a good bit of rice for around 15 dollars, which is pretty good for my standards. Excellent experience and I will be coming back!

I’ve been coming to this Thai spot for years and it’s always been really good. The prices have gone up over the years, which is understandable. It’s a lunchbox place where you get rice and pick 2-3 different side dishes to go with it all in the same plate. The food is still great, but just fyi it isn’t playing around with the spice. You will regret it. It is very flavorful though. Give it a try and experiment with different side dishes!

Good food, amazing service! The food is authentic home cooking, with a variety of Thai desserts and drinks. The waitress/cashier was so nice and accommodating. When I forgot to bring cash, she showed me the nearest ATM and let me eat first before the food got cold.
