I think this is my favorite place to eat out regularly. I come here at least twice a week for happy hour and get 3 rolls with a side of spicy mayo and eel sauce. They recognize me and bring me my order faster out of love, I’m sure of it. It’s beautiful when you can find a spot to love.

We LOVED this place! Cute little sushi bar with great food, generous portions! and great prices! (We were surprised how big the rolls were and ended up with a ton of leftovers!) We went for happy hour for my little brothers birthday and they made us feel special. We’ll come back anytime we’re in Ventura!

In the past I came here knowing the food would be good like always. But lately it’s been awful, my mother and I usually come here and order the same things, and lately they have been lacking in quality. The California rolls barely have any rice on the sides, looking lazily made. One time they forgot the avocado and they added soy paper where the seaweed is supposed to go, and even charged us extra for it. We especially weren’t happy when we found a plastic lid in our ramen and we were told by the supposed owner that it would be comped off the bill. Nope, just 20% off after they replaced it. All these anomalies happened all in one visit, and we knew it was time to move on from this place. I found other hotspots to go and get a proper meal. These guys used to be great, but not anymore. If you want Japanese, I wouldn’t come here unless they change up their game again. Or hire better cooks because this is just ridiculous. The waiters and waitresses are amazing and fast, the ownership and how they control the issues that arise in the food are the issue.

Amazing Happy Hour deals, fun atmosphere, lovely service. They have a very eclectic sushi menu always thinking of fun new ideas. I love trying things I’ve never tried before and this is the place to go for that. My favorite is there take on the calamari sauce, I’ve never had anything like it. Usually I only have lemon juice on it but their sauce has made me change my methods!

Some of the rolls were interesting, such as the Lemon Roll and the Chronic Roll. But everything else was less than average. Also, we sat down for awhile and no one gave us a menu until we asked for it.
