This is a DESTINATION! We were there on a Friday night around 5:30 and Joe met us at the door with a pleasant greeting and enquired if we were there for dinner? He ushered us to a cozy spot at the bar telling us Laura would be right with us to get our order. The Whiskey (Whisky) pours are AMAZING! The food was AMAZING! The service is and was Spectacular! This spot has some history too ask Deedee or Joe to fill you in! Again this is a Destination because it was so delicious and delightful worth the 1.5 hour drive.

Casual date night? It’s one of our favorite places! If you love nachos and are feeling adventurous..try the brisket nachos with all the “fixens’. Sour cream and guac is a perfect addition! If you like them messy, order double brisket. You won’t regret it. Thanks to Nicole! She is warm and welcoming and makes you feel like an old friend. Special shout out to the owner of this place. No expense is spared when it comes to holiday decorating. Skip the haunted house this year and bring the family here for dinner. Lots of opportunities for photos with life size spooky friends! There is a large dining area to the back that can accommodate a bigger group.

The younger staff seemed to me more annoyed that they had to be serving. My husband’s beer was empty they grabbed the empty and never asked if he’d like another or brought another. As I sat with an empty drink that was never refilled. I would have giving this place a 1 star if the owners (possibly management- but they seemed to be very invested) did not have such a strong presence. They had smiles and did bring a level of welcoming. Because of this we decided to stay a bit longer; ordering a basket of pickle chips. They were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and they would deserve a 5star based off the delicious food and generous portion!

Very friendly place! The owner spoke with us and recommended the fried Canadian Bluegill. I was very impressed with the meal! It was delicious and more than I could eat! I haven’t had Bluegill this good since I was a kid fishing from my Grandparents stock pond! My wife had the battered Cod and found it to be excellent also! We will be back with friends!

Pulled pork was moist and flavorful and served on a pretzel bun. Served with snapping crisp homemade chips and a pickle. I chose a grapefruit beer which was very refreshing on a hot muggy day.
