We visited Kickin Kajun around 11am. It’s a spacious, modern restaurant. They have lots of seafood boils to choose from. They also have alligator, calamari, po’boy sandwiches, etc. Staff was friendly. Helped us pick our drinks, which were perfect! We ordered sweet potato fries, alligator bites, calamari, onion rings, and a poboy catfish sandwich. Everything tasted very fresh. It was freshly fried. The waiter was very attentive. The food came out in good time. The price was reasonable. They have booths available for larger parties. All of the food was good, buuuut they needed a Little bit of seasoning Somewhere on the food. It tasted as if the food was all fried in the same fresh grease. Mix it up a bit and pick some seasoned batter. Outside of that, the food was good.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try today. We we’re both pleasantly surprised. I ordered the coconut shrimp with parmesan truffle fries. My husband ordered the gator basket with cajun fries. The portions in my opinion were great. 8 plump shrimp,a huge amount of delicious fries (get the truffle fries!) My husband had a huge mound of gator (DELICIOUS! If you’ve never had gator and are afraid to try it,get it from here,its outstanding)

Bring your seasonings with you the food was a little Bland, you will definitely need to have salt and pepper brought out with your food. The service was good and food did come out quickly. I hope this helps you out and have a great day.

Plastic gloves are provided so you can get knee deep in the seafood. My preference is to use my hands without gloves. The gloves just get in the way. We ordered the 6 lb platter…we were not disappointed. We chose the signature sauce which gave the dish more than enough flavor. Extra butter does not need to be purchased.

Went there for my Birthday! We went early, got a booth we had da combo Snowcrab, w, side Raw Oysters! Had lLong Island tea fo my cocktail!! Was nice and Strong !! Thanks to our Server Amber!! For the BEST service!! Food was perfect! Will be back soon again! Mahalo!!

Got the 6lb platter…if you like lobster..save some $$ and substitute the snow crab legs for one..we got 2 lobsters and only paid $11 more. The food came out very quickly for a 6 pounds of food. The sauce has alot of garlic in it, the only thing I would recommend is actual crab cracking tools…they gave us a pair of scissors with the tool in the handle.

Service was horrible for a table of three with reservation at 4:15. One person served their food while the other two watched. However, he didn’t get his complete order initially. Next two people got their food. Portions are small for the price. 5-7 shrimp with a huge amount of fries. Wings finally came out after complaining to the manager. However, had to request him twice before getting the wings. No server asked if we needed a refill on drinks. We finally requested a refill and got it. I’m not one to complain but the service was just so horrible as we watch larger tables get full attention and service. Maybe others will have a better experience.
