We walked in and we’re trapped in a box with a window and nobody there. Waited a second and somebody came and said something I couldn’t make out and I said yeah two for a booth and they said carry out only. Okay so maybe a sign outside that says CARRY OUT ONLY would be nice. So that way when you’re waiting a minute or two to turn into the place because it’s a busy time of day you can see the sign and decide well that’s not what I want and be on your way again! Instead it just says dining on the outside.

The food was not good at all. Shriveled chicken and won tons. No flavor except the hot and extremely sour soup. First and last time I will come here. The fortune cookie was delicious.

Eat here at your own risk, they do not practice cleanliness. My boyfriend picked up my food yesterday. I ordered pepper steak and rice for lunch, I ate some and ate the rest the following day (today). As I was chewing, I felt something hard. Taking the foreign object out of my mouth, I saw it was a piece of paper with a staple in it. When I called and asked to complain to the manager, she came on the phone. As I started to complain, she cut me off while I was talking and tried to talk over me. I hung up on her and decided to do a review here. The people who run this place do not care about your concerns nor your health.

Actually the food is good only thing is 3x we received the fried rice (shrimp & the pad prik) with NO ingredients. Chicken, Shrimp rice & a few onions. The time we got it right it was really good. I live far from them so when we go it’s warranted.. i guess they think we would eat the food and be happy. The lady who takes the orders talks TO FAST knowing people can hardly understand what she is saying.

First time trying. I was eager to try based upon good reviews but it’s Definitely not worth the $12.58 I paid for . The egg rolls are fairly salty. Seems like they dipped it in a bucket of salt. Also , the portions are smaller than expected . Chicken is really tasty though. But to save money, pick another place with better quality food.

You cannot sit down in this restaurant to eat its order ahead or at register takeout only. The food is fresh so call ahead if you don’t wanna wait. I have had no issues with my meals.

We ordered food tonight at Kim Taos towards the end of the night, and while eating my boyfriend pulled out two meal worm looking bugs. I’m absolutely disgusted. The woman at the restaurant told us to bring it back so we did, she tried to claim because the worms weren’t coated in sauce that it wasn’t from their establishment. She would only refund half of what we paid.

Had the sweet and sour shrimp, the almond chicken and chicken fried rice. Everything was as expected but the shrimp. The shrimp slapped me in the mouth and had my taste buds fighting with each other over who got to cover themselves in the blanket of goodness.

Just to let you know the portion was very small I ordered the dinner size the styrofoam tray makes it so much smaller I ordered the Szechuan Shrimp I ordered the dinner size it came with chicken fried rice and a egg roll I also ordered a large crab rangoon the shrimp was roughly $12 a little over for the dinner size the crab rangoon was around the same price the crab rangoon was excellent it was basically the best part people are complaining that it was skimpy not enough filling not cooked good enough and that they had a bad taste they tasted absolutely great to me 10 Stars but to me it was the best part of the entire purchase the feeling was perfect they were crunchy and they tasted absolutely great the dinner on the other hand was small I ordered the dinner size and it came in a styrofoam tray and the serving portion of the styrofoam tray was small I prefer the hard plastic large trays with the plastic top covering or the boxes with the metal handle the large box that folds up the size was small crab rangoon was better Taste of good crunchy was perfect shrimp dinner was good but the portion was very small I’ve been to places that had much larger portions so that’s why it’s not five stars small portions

Kim Toa is a cut above the usual Cantonese/Thai fare. The flavours feel more authentic; the Szechuan burns in just the right way. Delicious food for a few bucks less than a lot of local competitors.
