We frequent this place often and usually request Jay or a waitress that I recognize but can’t remember her name. Those 2 have excellent service the kind you don’t find anymore! They were not available so This time we had Andrew who referred to himself as Jay’s protege. He is new but is doing a good job. The menu offered a new item The breakfast board! It was like $37 for 2 people and offered all the breakfast greats! You get pancakes, french toast, chicken and waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon!!! I swear for the portions and variety you can’t beat that anywhere!!! And it was so good!!! The only problem we had was our table had not been wiped down and the place wasn’t as clean as it usually is. We went on father’s day morning and sat outside. I’m assuming it was still dirty from the night before. We were a huge group and they were happy to accommodate us right away. It’s the second time we go with a group of 12 without reservations and they have been very accommodating. I was really happy with our experience!

Wow this place is amazing! If you love burgers you have to give the out & in burger combo a try. This had to have been the best burger I’ve ever tried. An the fries were a straight 10 out of 10 I had already started eating them before I can take a picture haha. An my wife got fish tacos and said they were worth a try!

The staff was very friendly, our server was jade or Jay, very knowledgeable and welcoming. The omelette was one of the best omelette I have had, very generous, not heavy and not too greasy, the kids loved their breakfast as well. The price was very reasonable. If you are in southern San Diego, it’s highly recommended!!!!

Went on a recommendation from my spouse, and this place did not disappoint at all. The service was fantastic and the quality of the food is one of the best that you can get at the $15-25 approx. price point for each menu item. The french toast might be one of the best that I’ve ever had in San Diego. The quantity of food per plate is amazing. The flavors of each plate pops out. The friendliness and prompt service from the staff is great. Mexican food, traditional American and traditional seafood is on-point here. Puts any national chain (Denny’s, IHOP) and local chain (Breakfast Republic, The Mission, Broken Yolk) to shame here. No lie.

We ordered the summer strawberry salad and the strawberries tasted like it wasn’t washed . The herbs tasted like dry and old. The tacos we order they taste was good; but not the typical Mexican tacos. Even though the owners are from Mexico City. In my humble opinion that restaurant is just to have some drinks, get little tipsy and eat some food without care the taste. Not a going back restaurant for me. Sorry

Great restaurant, pleasant atmosphere indoors and outdoors. Friendly staff, everyone comes across very genuine. Large outdoor space and the indoor dining wasn’t cramped at all. The food is delicious and beautiful presentation. The bartender even offered up a sample taste of a special NYE drink for tomorrow night. We ordered a variety of food and everything was superb. Something about the cornbread ,it was so good, I had to get an order to go. This restaurants is such a hidden gem!
