I drove an hour to come here and it was worth the drive! I have nothing but praise about this restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere was amazing! Went here for lunch with my fam which was their first time and my 3rd time going here. I think the server was new on that day yet he was super helpful and attentive while seemed to overwhelmed which was totally understandable. Among other Korean restaurants in Ithaca, I could say that Kimchi is the one with the most authentic Korean flavor. Keep up the great work 🙂

The food is 5 but service is 3. I feel sorry for the poor guy who basically runs the entire dining area by himself. Which means it takes 10 minutes to be seated, 5min for water and another 5min for silverware… He is very kind and helpful but please, owner, get extra crew to help him!!

Ten out of five stars. This is the best Korean restaurant we have been to. It is a small storefront & modest, in the Ithaca Commons. Inside, it is bright, very clean and amazing service. The tea was the best we have ever had. We’ll be back.

Amazing food and service! Waiter was very nice. I ordered the Bento Box (도시락) and it was delicious. The Kimchi was also exceptional. We came on a Wednesday and there were a lot of other people eating, but since we had a reservation, we didn’t have to wait, and the staff did a very good job accommodating us. Despite the large number of people, the food came very quickly after ordering.

I had a very delicious and pleasant meal here for lunch! Our servers were so friendly and considerate and the food was delicious and refreshing. A cold homemade lemonade, banchan, fried chicken and restorative bibimbop was just what I needed on this hot summer day ☺️ thank you! We can’t wait to come back and try more! ❤️

Kimchi is a restaurant with incredible food and even better service! I dined here last night with my parents and we ordered the takoyaki (fried octopus balls) for an appetizer which was delicious. Then my parents split a bulgogi beef BBQ which came with various unpictured sides, including rice, kimchi, miso soy soup, and egg custard. I ordered the sundubu jjigae, which was a tasty stew of soft tofu, chicken, various vegetables in a spicy broth, with a side of rice. Everything is very well priced for the amount of food served, and the restaurant staff were kind and helpful. I can’t wait to eat here again!
