Kim-Chi Grill is a Korean BBQ restaurant that specializes in both traditional and fusion Korean cuisine. We use only the freshest ingredients in all our dishes, and our menu features something for everyone – from our hand-made dumplings to our freshly pickled variety of kimchi, and home-made Chinese sauces.

Kim-Chi Grill is family owned and operated by husband & wife team, Chef James & Satika Boyle. Le Cordon Bleu trained and certified, Chef James has helmed award winning Asian kitchens across the country. Skilled in wok cooking and hand-made dumplings. Awarded ‘Best Chinese Restaurant’ and ‘Best Dumpling in North Carolina’ in Raleigh, NC. Even appeared on the local Today show in 2010 preparing our hand-made dumplings.

I didnt realize this place had changed (from bad Chinese takeout) to now a family owned full service dine-in Korean homemade restaurant. I’m so glad I found Kimchi Grill! We shared Crab Rangoon for a snack and I had the glass noodles. My entree was delicious and I had plenty left over to bring home for lunch. We also tried the Soju. Something I’ve only heard about but never tried. Strawberry flavored similar to vodka but with ABV of wine.

Delicious!!! The rib-eye bulgogi bowl was the perfect balance of fresh and sweet and savory with a little heat. The pork belly bao buns were perfectly light bao with the most “chef’s kiss” crisp on the pork belly and then burst of freshness from the cucumber. The owners are so kind and have put so much love into the food and restaurant! It’s worth the drive down to Bonita!! Check them out!

So good! We had the pork belly bao buns, Korean dumplings (forgot to take a picture), sesame chicken, and the Ribyeye steak Korean bowl. Everything was so tender and delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes. Customer service was 10/10.

I finally had a chance to get out and try a new fast casual take out Asian restaurant in Bonita today. This isn’t one of those Asian restaurants that freeze and fry your food. Chef James Boyle and family prepare everything from scratch in house daily. Our dining selections didn’t disappoint as everything was packed full of flavor and flare.
