I had the Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) tacos (3) combo, and they were absolutely delicious. A bit spicy, but I tried a few of their sauces on them, and I recommend the blue cheese ranch! The restaurant was clean and the employees were polite. I liked that we could order using the order screens rather than making the employees wait for us to make up our minds. They had clean restrooms for customers, and finding parking wasn’t terrible for St. Louis.

I just found out this place was downtown. It’s great little place that with 10 or so tables and the service is fast. I got the bowl and it was really delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for some casual Korean. The owners are also the folks who own Drunken Fish.

Needed some Korean food STAT as I had been on the road for several days and deprived. Kimchi Guys was pretty much the only option in the downtown area so came here with high hopes and I was not disappointed. The bibimbap was legit, living up to the expectations of a Korean while the fried chicken was not in the traditional Korean style, but was excellent nonetheless. The style of chicken was new to me, as fried it was wet but also super crispy at the same time. All in all would highly recommend!

There are three places in St. Louis who serve Korean style fried chicken that will truly make you want to slap your mama. O! Wing Plus, Fire Chicken, and Kimchi Guys. I’ve been coming here since the weekend they opened in 2019. I recall hearing about this place opening through the grapevine back then and I made it a mission to try it asap. It was love at first bite. I remember being with my cousin and when that chicken hit our mouths we just looked at each other and had a moment of silence. I always get the 10 wing combo. Back in 2019 this bad boy was only $14 and now it’s $21. That’s just the way she goes. Still worth every penny. The chicken itself is first-rate quality. They use an almost tempura-like batter that accompanies the various sauce options like a fine wine. My favorite is their “Original” sauce which is a little sweet and a little spicy. It’s a sticky, gochujang, soy sauce that can’t really be described in words. It transcends the vernacular of our feeble human minds. Runner up would be the “Honey Butter” sauce. This guy is just what it sounds like. A scrumptious symphony of honey and butter working together to make an irresistible finger licking concoction. If you get the 10 piece combo I recommend getting half original and half honey butter. Don’t fall into temptation by getting ranch for dipping because you won’t need it (it’s also like $2 for a side of ranch and it’s just store-bought, mass produced, low quality stuff so don’t waste your money). If you fancy yourself some chicken then come here the next time you have a hankerin’. 9.45/10 clucks.

After several hours of walking around at the Arch and Gateway National Park, we were hungry and ready to rest a bit. Laclede’s Landing was a bit sleepy on a Monday at dinner time, but thankfully Kimchi Guys was open! This meal really hit the spot for us.

I’ve eaten a lot of quesadillas in my life, and this was HANDS DOWN the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. I could eat this every day. The kimchi salsa was also amazing. I wish there was a Kimchi Guys closer to where we live.

Self-serve/order. Good atmosphere. I hate to do this, but I ordered 3-piece fried chicken. I was very disappointed. The pieces were tasteless. The thigh was burnt and raw at the same time. The radish kimchi was dried up. Waffle fries were good.
