We decided to stop before heading back home and it was a nice little spot to close out our stay in Savannah. The food was great, I got a French toast platter and my husband got a breakfast sandwich. It’s a very welcoming space and the art and the culture is vibrant. The kiddo’s at the front are doing a great job as you can tell it’s probably their first gig, just need a bit more customer service training. The owner was super friendly and welcoming. Next time we visit Savannah, we surely will visit for lunch or dinner because they seem to have anything and everything on the menu! OH and the banana pudding TOP TIER !!

When travelling, I try not to visit the same restaurant twice, especially in new places. Kim’s Cafe made me forgo that with great food and great service. Kima, our waitress was a joy. Loved the art on the walls. Takes a minute or two extra for your food but is because it is made fresh in the kitchen. It is well worth checking out.

First timers at this place. We where headed to a normal spot, but turned around to try it out. I can’t complain about anything. Nice atmosphere, artwork, etc. Clean space. When I took a bite of the collards, it felt like I was at home. Love a cook(s) who’s not afraid to make sure food has flavor but not salty. Caila even ate everything. This is a must visit for anyone. Next time breakfast to see if someone can make my Salmon Croquettes taste like home with canned Salmon.

Fantastic breakfast on MLK. Friend wanted to try as a morning meeting spot (he’d been there the day before picking up a DoorDash order) and very glad he did. Home cooking feel from friendly staff in a bright dining room. Great food!

I watched so many videos in my preparation for our trip to Savannah. All of them were missing this incredible gem of a restaurant. We didn’t try a single thing that was anything short of incredible. The sausage will be on my mind for weeks to come. Not only was the food amazing, but every employee was accommodating and friendly. The restaurant itself was extremely clean, which was reflected by their impressive health inspection score of 100. My only regret is not living closer so we could become regulars.

Was looking for a hearty breakfast before hitting the road while visiting Savannah and Kim’s Cafe did not disappoint. There was virtually no wait to get a table and our food came out very quickly. Everything was seasoned well and you got a great portion size for the money! Only disappointment is that I didn’t bring some food home for dinner! Lol

Just received my order via doordash and I was highly dissatisfied considering I was so hungry. How do you mess up French toast? How do you mess up a bacon egg and cheese sandwich?! The fish was semi okay. The cheese that was supposed to be on the grits was melted to the wax paper. The French toast was burnt. I didn’t touch the bacon. I threw it away. Very low quality bacon. The same goes for the fish. Definitely won’t order again. I wanted to support a small business but man I can’t waste 30 dollars on a chance again. Not a speck of pepper or any type of flavor.
