We always try to find a black owned restaurant when we’re out of town. We stopped by here after reading the reviews. The lady(Scharne) at the register was really nice and friendly. We got the fish plate, mac & cheese, and collard and a loaded chicken mashed potatoes. Our food was great and for the price. She even gave us a heads up about the traffic heading back to Georgia. We will be back when we’re nearby.

Food was amazing. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I had brisket, ribs, collard greens, Mac and cheese and cornbread. Everything was delicious. Then I ordered some chess pie and white beans to go. My only regret is that I won’t be in town for the fried chicken weekend.

Kinfolks is delicious! I’ve had almost everything on their menu, and it has never let me down. The bologna is thick, the ribs are meaty, and the catfish is breaded right. Best brisket and ribs I’ve had in a long time. They’re open for dine-in now, and sitting in there is very pleasant. Plus there is outdoor seating in a screened-in area.

We stopped here on our way from Florida to Minnesota and it’s one of the best BBQs we’ve been to and the portions were huge for the price! Definitely recommend the platter for $28, it can easily feed 3 adults. The owners are awesome and they make everything fresh by hand, even the lemonade.

Was the first time ordering Thanksgiving dinner. Sorry, I didn’t take any food pictures since we ate the day after, and truly didn’t even think about it.
