BBQ and sides are ALWAYS delicious. Kinfolks is not fancy but has a wonderful down home feel to it that I love. It’s like sitting in your grandma’s kitchen, and having a home cooked meal. I like the chipped pork sandwich. The Brunswick Stew is fabulous and the potato salad had large chunks of potato and just the right seasonings. I forgot to take photos “before” but am including a picture of the “after.” Clearly we enjoyed it. I bought extra Brunswick Stew to take home for lunch tomorrow.

Idk why this place has so many good reviews , its mediocre at best… chicken is dry, every single side has sugar in it, no type of greens as a side. The stew side i cant taste nothing besides the sugar. The only good thing i can say about this place is that the staff is very friendly, but i would not recommend this food to anyone that actually appreciates a real bbq experience

My family of five ate here for lunch and we were the only people in the restaurant besides the staff. Perfect service. We ate with less conversation than usual, because we we’re all chowing down so hard. Took home some leftover ribs and chicken, great the next day. Desserts were all on point. My only question is: why wasn’t there a line of people out the door?!

Was my Dad’s birthday today, so when in town it’s a must that I go to one of his favorites and celebrate his life and memory with a meal❣️ Everything was awesome as it always had been‼️

This is Fort Walton’s BBQ that’s an open pit and not a chain. You will smell the smoke on the road before you get there. So far every dish I like. If you ask for some outside or inside cut, the server will not give you a strange look. I highly recommend this place.

They have amazing bbq pork. It doesn’t really need additional BBQ sauce. I haven’t tried any of their other meats. Im sure they’re pretty good. They have three bbq sauces. The sweet bbq sauce is my favorite. I highly suggest eating there. It would be nice if they were open past 5 pm and open on weekends.

Quality bbq joint with a no frills atmosphere. I had the chopped beef and pork combo with fries and baked beans. All of their BBQ sauces are flavorful and options include their house-made mild, a sweeter rendition, and a spicy version. The beef and pork were flavorful, but my one drawback was that it was lukewarm. I’m not sure if it is just the way chopped meats come, but the top of the meats was cooled off by the time it got to the table. However, the flavor was still there (rich and smokey), so I was happy with it overall. I was surprised by how much I liked their rolls. They must make them in-house because they are super light, warm, and fluffy with a crispy crust. Finally, the peanut butter pie is the dessert they make in-house and it was phenomenal. One of the best pies I have ever had. Overall, it is a solid locals spot. The quality, affordability, and staff remind me of Stewby’s. Service was friendly and easy-going. I will be back, but I will be sure to ask for a hot plate next time.

First time here as I’m new to town and was hesitant to eat bar b que from a strip mall but was very pleasantly surprised as we’re my taste buds. Prices are wrong by like $4 from the internet site so check before u order for accurate rates. Ribs fell off the bone and chipped beef is the way to go. We’ll worth a visit to this hidden gem of Fort Walton Beach.
