It was a bit crowded, the food was ok but not great. I got takeout this time because the last time I sat in, I felt I was being rushed to leave. My daughter who has several food allergies and was small at the time, was not eating with us and they wanted me to pay for her because she had 1 piece of pineapple from my plate.

Would rate 3.5 if possible. ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨For the price you simply can’t go wrong. So many options. I’m a fan of boneless spareribs with rice mix in a little chow mein paired with an eggroll and I’m happy. My friend was thrilled with the seafood offered as you can see in the pictures. While the food was slightly colder than I would have liked, it was good.

I used to come here as a child and everything has changed except the menu. The food quality was never outstanding but now its downright disappointing. Not only did they get rid of all high quality ingredients, many of the items were simply inedible, including the clams and sushi. After a disappointing meal, my partner, girlfriend, and I all experience stomach discomfort. Do not come here. Also they got rid of the neon lighting, the one redeeming quality to their atmosphere.

They no longer sell crabs there and that’s what we came for. Other than that the food was so-so. Sushi was dry and seemed like it was out for a long time. The salmon was fishy. I had other things that were mediocre like the stuffed shrimp. The regular fresh shrimp was good but wasn’t deveined. I don’t think we will be back.

My family has been eating at King Buffet for over 20 years. In fact we were some of their very first customers when they just opened. The owners, Sylvia and her husband are wonderful and it is obvious they still take pride even after all these years in making sure every customer has a great experience. Without a doubt, one of the best Chinese buffets operating in NY!
