There is nowhere on earth left to eat dinner for $4 unless you go to king dumplings…… The food is pretty freaking awesome too. They’ll forget your order and you’ll need to remind them, but hey. Your not at a 4 star restaurant right ? Believe me, you’ll love this place. I did ! And my girlfriend too. Spent $10 on a date. How awesome is that.

(No-frills, cash only) Delicious cheap eats! I ordered 3 things and my meal was only 11 dollars and I ended up being super full, so can definitely have a meal w just single digits. The food came out fresh and very very hot (burned my tongue quite a bit) and quite quickly as well. I ordered the pan-fried dumplings, which was 10 (rather large) dumplings for only 4 dollars. The price has risen through the years but it’s still insanely cheap. These dumplings have a thicker skin and I personally prefer thinner-skinned dumplings but the thickness provides a nice chew. They’re filled substantially with a pork&chives fjlljng. Also ordered the fuzhou style wonton soup (扁肉）, which is much thinner and less meat than your typical wontons (they have normal wonton soup too). And then I also got a sesame sandwich with roast duck. (Which was only 3.50!!). They have a variety of sesame sandwiches for all around that price range. Anyways good, solid food. Nothing spectacular of course but for its price point, they’re very good. One thing to note is that everything is quite oily, which might be a turnoff for some.

A great spot for delicious, authentic dumplings. Like many restaurants around chinatown the focus is on making cheap but tasty food, so don’t expect the ambiance of a hip LES spot. That said, the price can’t be beat – we paid $8 for 20 dumplings that we had for dinner and leftovers the next day. Will be back soon!

i went at around 4pm and there weren’t a lot of people so that was great. i really recommend the pork & chive dumpling fried (only $4). the broth of the noodles wasn’t the strongest and also not that flavourful.

Great dumplings and soups. 10 fried dumplings for $4. Dumpling soup consisting of 5 dumplings of your choice, noodles and an egg for $6 and a wide range of other options on their menu. Definetly a must visit.

So much food for so little $ (but make sure you have that $ in cash only). Dumplings are hefty and tasty. I got a beautiful dumpling noodle soup that came with a surprise MF egg in it. Boy, was I over the moon at that little surprise. $6 bought me a whole lotta happiness.

King Dumplings, located between Chinatown and Lower East Side, offers delicious homemade dumplings at an affordable price. For just $3.50, you can enjoy a plate of 10 mouth-watering fried dumplings. We ordered the pan-fried pork and chive dumplings, which were cooked to perfection, with a crispy outer layer and a juicy and flavorful pork filling. We were so impressed with the quality of the dumplings that we even purchased a bag of frozen dumplings to enjoy at home. In our opinion, King Dumplings offers one of the best dumpling deals in the city.
