Pretty shocked at how poor the food was prepared and put together. Burnt dumplings, fish wasn’t fresh and sloppily rolled. I live up the street so figured I’d finally give them a whirl and will say some of the poorest restaurant / food take out I’ve seen to date. Save your money or go elsewhere.

When I got a notification that my order was ready an hr ahead of schedule, I called to ask that they correct this and they said they had no notice/couldn’t re sell our food. After some back and fourth, it sounded like all was resolved and they would AT LEAST refrigerate the rolls. When I went to pick up, not only was the lady giving me a terrible attitude, THE SUSHI WAS HOT and unsafe to eat as it appeared it had been sitting out the entire time. The takeout container had condensation. This is absolutely unacceptable with raw fish of all things.

Love this place! It has an authentic sushi feel to it and is on the outskirts of the dt Portland so not packed with people and wait times. Server recommended the fresh Uni (sea urchin) and it was absolutely fantastic very fresh and clean. Also ordered the nigiri bento box which was amazing and still thinking about it. Warning though the men’s bathroom is extremely small felt like something out of Willy Wonka or something

The food was good but came an hour and a half after we arrived and the place wasn’t even full. We ordered promptly. Our waitress ended up not talking to us for 30 minutes, took us twenty to bring us water and with that our already cold appetizers. She repeated that our sushi was being made despite finding out 1 hour and 30 minutes later that our order had never been put in. When they finally put it in, it took them 5 minutes to make. However, it was falling apart. They repeatedly tried to serve us/repeated to us that we had ordered things we hadn’t. Then, when we finally politely said our food was taking a bit longer than anticipated, they said “it’s been prepared” and brought out the same cold egg sushi 2 piece that we had received and eaten 1 hour prior. Half the dishes and drinks we received were cold. They also took away our chopsticks despite us never having gotten food and didn’t give us new ones. When we ordered a second sushi because we were hungry from waiting 2 hours, that took another twenty minutes and we again had to steal chopsticks for another table after not being given them again. We paid in cash to get out as fast as possible, and despite having arrived at 7:15 and ordered at 7:20, we left at 9:20.

Really good food. You have to try the dragon roll! They have good choice of Sake which is japanese rice wine, and fresh fish. I go here almost every other week
