Bad customer service, the owner try to humiliated me I’m front of other customers when I for a little of of hot sauce. It’s free everywhere you go, she said “no, that’s only for dine in” she yelled the whole time. I’m not coming back!!! The owner sold me tortillas that she doesn’t know how to make.

Im regular customer today there was cleaning I asked the lady can I use the restroom and she says no it is for customers only, while Im there to have lunch. It was seriously rude, first it is not right to stop anyone using restaurant restrooms coz it is public place, second it is health department regulation you cannot deny water and restroom to anyone. Even though their food suck, but I used to go there from today NO MORE. I rather eat fast food but spend my money in a place where no respect to human.

On Dec 6 2022 at 8:00 PM, my family and I went to eat to this establishment. We are familiar with the King Pollo in Chantilly VA, their service and food are good, but our experience at the Sterling location was really poor. One of the chefs was making fun of us and the other one was really rude. Unfortunately, my elderly mother and my 8 year old took some time to decide their dinner preferences, and there were no other customers waiting, but this does not give the right to talk on top of customer or giving a sarcastic attitude. Thanks King Pollo Sterling, good food, but your service is simply deplorable.

Stopped by for lunch around 1pm. They were out of quarter white chicken, so I went with quarter dark. Chicken was a bit dry (looks like they were on the tail end of the lunch rush), but if you dine in, there are containers of the green and yellow sauces to mask it. Steamed vegetables and fried rice were both good.

This was not my first time here. I was here a few months back before the pandemic to get a quick bite. Usually, I am not a fan of these rotisserie styled restaurants , but today I wanted to give them a try as they didn’t disappoint the last time I was here. Firstly, it’s an open concept restaurant with limited seating, which is obvious. The kitchen, order point and pick-up point is on the immediate left upon entry, which can easily fill up with customersif you don’t know that right away. And the menu is presented ona flat screen advice the serving area, but easily viewed downward when ordering. The food especially the chicken is cooked throughly and not pink on the inside. Many other places fail my review of the chicken is pink, for me it’s not cooked. King Pollo of Sterling cooks it right without the loss of tenderness and moisture, which is hard to do. In any case, the did was very good and I was fulfilled in my first and lay bite. If you’re in the area stop here to feed yourself or family. King Pollo of Sterling did not disappoint.
