Excellent food and service! We were a party of 8 on Mother’s Day during lunch time. Our waiter was excellent in every way, food fantastic from our bread basket, shrimp jalapeños, brisket queso and our entrees. I personally enjoyed the chili soup and Greek salad.

Went for HRW dinner menu and loved the service and atmosphere. The brisket queso was very flavorful. For entrees the ribs were nice and tender. Brussel sprouts that went with the redfish were very crispy and flavorful. The chicken enchilada “casserole” was tasty as well as the borracho beans on the side. Also got the creamed street corn side and that was a very good choice. For dessert the chocolate cake and carrot cake were good. The key lime tart was a miss.

On a prior work trip to Houston I had seen this place and was severely wanting to stop by next time I was in town. Next time came around! The food is fabulous. The brisket queso is as good as any main entree. See the picture. The Wagyu Bavette Steak (RC Ranch) was extremely flavorful. (Sorry I don’t have a pic. I are it to fast.) The decor is spot on. Prices are good. The bar seats 12. Two TVs at the bar and an even larger TV in the same room. Three separated dining areas. Yes, I will return. You should come.

Service was good, and food was mostly good. It was the seating that prompted the bad review. Probably 20 people total in the restaurant, we had a reservation and were waiting at the front. We were greeted and told the hostess we had 6, to which she began working on seating. Then the manager came up and began to ask how many and at the news of 6 then wanted the reservation. Once the reservation was seen then she allowed the seating. She had us sat at a table that had 3 smaller tables pushed together that were half chairs and half bench. This makeshift table was given instead of the other 12 tables made for a party of 6. This made for drinks being spilled and items dropping due to the tables and chairs sliding all over the slick floors. For a restaurant that apparently requires a reservation to be seated, this absolutely ruined the experience for us.

Today was our first time here and we absolutely fell in love with everything from the restaurant, to our food tasting so delicious and it was all cooked to perfection! And I cannot forget to mention the outstanding service we received from our waiter Diego his service and attention was beyond. The General Manager Beth also came to our table chatted with us and offered us a tour of the restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Our server/bartender Raven was friendly and helpful throughout the night. She made great drink recommendations and continuously checked on our table to ensure we were never in need of anything. Food was delicious and well portioned. Dessert was perfectly sweet but not overwhelming, pecan pie was the favorite. Will definitely be going back!

The queso was a good pick, the ribs were very dry and overcooked, the chicken fried steak was okay, but nothing to really get excited about, small mashed potato portion in comparison to huge fried steak, I ordered the lunch portion but was brought/charged the dinner one. Iced tea was good. Waiter seemed unhappy, but was attentive. For the price and service, I don’t think I’ll be back.
