Again I’m at my wits end at this take out place., normal it’s a usual 45 mins for delivery for hot food , lately it has crept up to the 75-90 minute wait.

I order weekly from King Wok for years and years. Lately the service has gone downhill. Today was the last straw. I placed an order at 5:30 for delivery. Called 6:30 they said its on the way. Called at 7:00 they said they are making it. Called 7:30 they said they still need to make it. My husband eventually had to go get it at 7:45 because it would have been another half hour if we waited for the delivery. They were very rude, unapologetic. They said they will not do anything for us, and basically hung up on me. NEVER AGAIN!

Unfortunately, they lie about wait time, this isn’t new but I thought they stopped. They say 25 min and you give them 30 minutes or so and they want you to pay when it’s still not ready. This time I didn’t pay and asked 3 times how much longer and the response was about 15 more minutes… total of an hour! Convenient and decent food but they lie and therefore I will go a little further for better service, food and no lies!

The food was ok. Similar to other places. Had the steamed dumplings and general tso’s lunch special. The special came with hot and sour soup and vegetable fried rice as I ordered. The fried rice was good. The soup v was tasty, but a little bit too sour compared to many others I have had. The general tso’s chicken was very good and had a nice spice to it. A nice surprise was the chicken was white meat.

We’ve always loved King Wok but lately the food is even more delicious than usual. Don’t know if they have a new chef but the last few times we’ve ordered in the last couple months food has been amazing! And the portion sizes are very generous.

Good clean food. Easy online ordering possible. It is convenient. Lunch special was good. Little less of the thickening agent (corn flour?) will make the soup and entree nicer.
