Yummy pork chop. Broccoli for this take out was too crisp – needs to cook a little longer – but saved by the tasty broth it was cooked in. The other items from the egg to the soup were fine. The flavours were all authentic Chinese, unlike Panda’s fake American Chinese.

Pork chop over rice is authentic., pretty close to the standard back to Taiwan. However, somehow, I feel one of the dish we ordered has too much MSG. Else, everything is perfect. Service is 9/10, food 8/10 and atmosphere 7/10. I just hope the chef will look into the MGS or salty issue.

Food doesn’t taste as good as it used to be. The pork chop is thin and merely warmw when I dine in today… It used to be hot as they’d fry it when you order. Also side dishes were much better before. Only one staff running back and forth to take care of all the tables, so really not much service you can expect.

Right Way to Eat
I love the pork chop here. Tasted as good as the one in their Taiwan branch restaurant. The variety is good with concise menu. I think you’ll love chicken leg rice as well. The stir fry tofu is good as well. There is a complimentary tea to start off and the place is fast with service. There seemed to be popular with large group, so be aware of that if you are coming in on the busy time at dinner time at 7pm.

Inexpensive but the food quality is below average. I have had a lot of dumplings in Taiwan before and these are probably the worst I have had. The meat quality inside the beef dumplings was bad and you pretty much eat and spit the rest of the meat that could not be chewed out (see image in dish). Neither the filling in the dumpling was good or the dough used to make dumplings nor the sauce provided to go with the dumplings. Even The frozen dumplings you buy at the supermarket taste better. The people that were eating next to me did not finish their food either. This is pretty much a Denny’s version of Taiwanese food if that.
