We’ve become regulars here at Kingdom Grille, and considering the remoteness of the NEK of Vermont, it’s nice to be able to enjoy a friendly “neighborhood” bar and grill every week. You’re not going to find 5-star dining or trendy hipster recipes, but you are going to get hearty burgers, appetizers, drinks, and (lately) delicious desserts. What you really come to the Kingdom for, though, is the friendly local hospitality, which makes up for the limited menu and food choices. Order your burgers on the medium side, because they typically come out a little on the dry side, and don’t be shy to ask for something YOUR way. There’s a menu at the KG, but they’re usually fairly accommodating when it comes to, “Can you make me…?” If you want a real gut-busting treat, ask for Angie’s Special — it’s the house nachos made with french fries instead of tortilla chips — and it will be the best basket of fries you ever had! On Tuesdays, drop in for tacos — the best bargain of the week! For $10 you get three tacos, rice, and beans. The beans and rice are usually done well, and the tacos vary, but there’s a choice of beef or chicken, soft or hard, or mix it up with a variety. Prices are fair and food is reliable. Add a fun mix of servers and bar staff, and you have a regular party any night of the week!

7.17.22 There aren’t many restaurants in Island Lond so we were excited that this had indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately we didn’t have reservations and there was a live performance so we couldnt dine outdoors. Our waitress was awesome, fast, and perky. Our burgers were delicious with lots of flavor, good portion of fries. We were really happy with everything. We went back on Sunday for dinner but unbeknownst to us, they closed at 2 on Sundays. Bummer. So we ate at Essex House instead.

A Great lil spot that has good flavors for a combo of NEK(NorthEast Kingdom) and IP(island pond) favorites. Vermont staples like the NEK Beef bomb and tasty options of slightly north of the border like Poutine. Stop in and see this wonder American food joint.

Came here this past Saturday with a crew of 7 in tow. They quickly accommodated our large group, AND we’re also quick to get us drinks that we NEEDED after snowmobiling all afternoon. Burger was the best I’ve had in a while, and multiple compliments on the steak bomb and poutine(which if you know you know). 10/10 recommend!

So I ordered 2 steak and cz ok comes on a hotdog roll uses fake steak asked for xtra mayo and it was so dry only had one bite and just couldn’t eat no more the fries went to my dogs but broccoli bites were good

Quaint…friendy…clean. they have a short simple menu. It’s basically a pub. Great wings…sweet potato fries..and Chilli. Good for a light lunch which was all we needed on our travels. Nice little trail to walk by the lake when you’re done eating. Beautiful area.
