I’ve never left a restaurant so confused, disappointed, and hungry. My daughter wanted to try this buffet for her birthday. First surprise was $30 per person (expensive, but buffets often are). We arrived at 8 and were told we’d only have time to go through once before the kitchen closes (not a huge deal, I don’t eat more than one plate). Then, we were told to pick 4 meats from a menu instead of going through a buffet line (odd, but no biggie). Then we were delivered 4 small plates of RAW meat (if I wanted to cook my own food, I’d stay home)! I couldn’t stomach the chicken texture, the beef was fatty, and some of the meat was green, so we basically just sampled them all. Then, the final surprise, you get charged $10 per meat that you don’t finish! $40 extra for not eating!?!? So, a birthday dinner for my teen where we barely ate anything costs $100!!!!!

This food was so delicious!!! We had fun grilling our own food. All you could eat wouldn’t be something we do often. Cost$219 for 4 adults, a 6 year old and a 10 year old who where not eating very much. We went through 1 round plus 1 more tray of the teriyaki chicken. Just think for something we are cooking ourself it’s too spendy that’s why I gave 4 stars. The last picture was the 1st time my husband and I came and we just did entree’s. Was about $15 per plate which we felt was reasonable. We couldn’t finish our food because we got full and it was very yummy. Cider beer was great! Staff were very helpful and nice.

I ordered to go and while we are eating at the hotel we noticed the egg rolls were uncooked and still cold inside. Same as the chicken spicy barbecue was not cooked well. After a couple of bites we have to stop eating our dinner because we do not want to get sick. I called the restaurant and the owner told me to bring back and they will replace it. But I didn’t bring it back because it was freezing outside and the weather is bad that night.

Great experience with the kids to enjoy a meal this way. Meat was delicious and tender. Sauces compliment the meat very well. Very large selection of items! Also a great array of sides (you can even request a specific one you like). Each person also gets a bowl of rice and the table gets a salad to share.

Overall it was an okay experience for me. Came here last week on Friday afternoon to try the lunch AYCE, the waitress were so friendly. However the wait time was somehow too long. I waited about 15 mins before the waitress came and took the order, then another 20 mins for the food to come.

Kingkong is my #1 Korean bbq restaurant in the local area for me. All their food tastes great. All their employees are polite and very helpful. I love that the dinner buffet comes with an optional steamed egg, soup, and wrapper. their sauces are great too. The salad dressing is perfect. I hope their lettuce is cut a little bit bigger for wrapping but it still works fine. I have been here multiple times and I regret nothing. There are two recent changes that I didn’t like though. First, there are fewer screens. Actually, I think there is only one now. I love watching K-pop music videos, so I am unhappy when they remove those screens. Their restroom has a lock now which is quite an inconvenience when you have to use the restroom. Other than that, I still prefer Kingkong over other places like K-Town. Most especially that kids under 4 years are still free so I prefer Kingkong whenever I’m with my niece.

Great experience and good food but still needs a little work or a good manager. They were all out tap beer, and worst of all my girl went to the bathroom and NO toilet paper need I say more. Bill came to $140 with a $20 tip.

Way too much oil in the bulgogi, for 18.95, it should be perfect. This was not. We poured off 1/2 cup into garbage, it was even still very oily. If you use less oil I would give 5 star. Plus all this oil cost you money.

This place is awesome! Friendly environment, amazingly friendly staff and fresh ingredients! I have been going to the KBBQ down in Portland for the past several years but I found this little gem as I was driving down Mill plain and have came here twice already in the past two weeks. My waiter has been Seth both times and he is an extremely professional and polite young man. He has a superb memory and even asked my daughter how her surgery went and how the recovery is going and that was 2 weeks ago. I’m highly impressed with this place. Fair prices, Great Food(All You Can Eat!) And my new go to spot for KBBQ!
