We got there 10 minutes after they opened, and 3/4 of our selections off the buffet were cold. Not luke warm, but actually cold. It seemed really odd, as it looked fresh and the flavors were actually pretty good, but the cold food could not be overcome. If the food would have been hot or even fairly warm, I probably would have given them a 5.

Booths had holes in them and no padding left in the seats. The food was terrible. The crunchies for the soup was stale. The egg drop soup looked strange too, like it was old or something. The Salad bar was virtually nonexistent. Just lettuce, 1 type of dressing and some old looking cheese. Mo other vegetables or other traditional salad toppings.The chicken dishes were soggy, cold and gross. The desserts were extremely bland. We were not impressed at all. We won’t be back. The service was the only thing that wasn’t awful. They weren’t very friendly, but not rude either. Just quick with retrieving empty plates and refilling drinks.

Got attitude back from the lady at the front desk when I asked if I could sit elsewhere. I usually like privacy. She didn’t like the fact that I preferred booth. She did a gesture with her hands and walked away. I had already paid for the buffet in the beginning before even sitting down. I wanted to just get my refund and let them know that I didn’t appreciate the attitude, but I don’t like to make a scene so I just continued to eat. What an uncomfortable experience to ha e to deal with that after you first pay before even sitting down. I’m a paying customer, and I like privacy. Management correct the front desk ppl on making an effort not to give attitude if a customer chooses to sit elsewhere. This is the first and the last time I come here.

If you are from Elkhart and remember Food Lin or King Buffet by Summit Ridge when they were new this place reminds me of them. Food was all new and excellent. Person came and got our plates and gave us refills.

Your cooks need to learn how to cook shrimp before they make people severely sick! I’ve never seen “cooked” shrimp bleed when you tear the heads off and raw guts come out.

Salisbury Steak
I order from here at least a couple times a month. To this day, I think they’ve only messed up my order once in four years. Ordering is fast and clean, no issues and no mess ups.
