First off can we take a second to appreciate the plating of this beautiful, delicious masterpiece! The croissant was so perfectly baked as if August Zang made it himself portion sizes were huge, and the signature sausage gravy on top is genius. Highly recommended trying this spot!

Not enough seating! My husband loved his food I’m still on the fence. Everything I tasted lacked flavor! Eggs were not seasoned at all or hash browns. The gravy was good but it’s on the bread and looses it’s seasoning real quick.

Lots of items to choose from and the person working the register made some good suggestions. The chicken and waffles were pretty good. The banana split latte was excellent. My wife loved the French toast. Service was quick and friendly. It was hard to read the menu and a little overwhelming, but that could be my eyes.

There’s only one young man up here and he’s moving fast and working hard. But the wait is so long so they are probably short staffed. Hoping this is just today because even though he had a great attitude. Everyone was waiting forever. Whoever the manager is needs to reevaluate the staffing number. This is ridiculous. Kudos to the young man for working hard and having a good attitude. (August 23 8am)

This is my favorite location. I’ve been to the Kingside Express in Clayton. It’s ok. I’ve had the chicken and waffles which are my fave to get EVERY time. However, today, I tried the fish tacos. Delicious! My fries were a little cooked more than I’d like but they were still good. I’d definitely recommend these and get it again. Now, I have two faves. I spent a bit more for them because it was delivered but it would be cheaper of course with pick-up. I have no regrets.

We walked here from our hotel because it was so close. We picked a winner!! The associate who helped us was smiling and friendly, even though we came in 30 minutes before they closed. She made food recommendations and they didn’t disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. I thought the prices were high until I saw the amount of food we got. We would totally become regulars if we lived here.
