The Kingsley Tavern is my favorite restaurant in Kent. Fantastic drink and food. The Poutine brings a a satisfying comfort to my soul. Fish Tacos are super tasty and not too heavy. My wife thought the Burrata was aweseom. Dig it all!

We are frequent customers of Kingsley Tavern and can’t speak highly enough about the quality of the food, the caring service (shout out to Tony, Amanda and the team) and the overall comfortable vibe of the experience. There are so many highlights on the menu but its the specials that are, indeed, special. Most of the time we order the fish special, although when its chilly out there is always something warming and filling on the specials menu. The portions are excellent, sometimes bordering on too much (but always tasty). Sleeper pick off the main menu: avocado tacos (my son orders this every time, its his favorite – deep fried avocado with all the fixings – it is truly excellent, maybe more so than my description). The bar is exceptionally well stocked and creative, excellent spirits list and creative wine list. In the springtime/summer and fall, there is nothing more pleasant than sitting outside on the porch or in the courtyard. Bravo, Kingsley Tavern!

Don’t waste your money in this place. We eat out 5 days a week in restaurants mostly in Litchfield and Fairfield counties. We know prices in Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Woodbury, and etc. This one is a Tavern but priced like a 5 star. It is a cute place but they are over the top.

My wife and I stopped in on our visit to Kent and we absolutely loved Kingsley Tavern! We sat at the bar and enjoyed some good local beers and they even had a whiskey I’ve had trouble finding lately. We decided to stay and the bar to eat and the food was awesome! Scallops were some of the best I’ve ever had. The bartender was outstanding and a lot of fun. We made several new friends at the bar as everyone was having a great time. Would definitely return on a future visit. Highly recommend.

Very nice rustic atmosphere, great service, and some very nice menu choices made for an enjoyable evening. The Iberico pork tenderloin was cooked perfectly , and the chicken of the woods app was a delicious combo of flavors. My wife had the Fluke special which was cooked to perfection. This is our new favorite place.
