They served my one year old raw chicken! I took his food to go and when I was going to warm it up for him I cut it into pieces so it’ll be easier for him to eat and saw this. I am disgusted…… I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas, cabbages and Mac n cheese. The chicken was ok but it wasn’t much and I had a big bone in one. The Mac n cheese was nasty, dry and was barely warm. Rice/peas were okay as well as the cabbages. Overall I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here especially if you love your kids and don’t want them to get salmonella.

My experience was great. The waitresses on duty the afternoon I visited was very helpful with menu items since this was my first time visiting. I highly suggest the oxtail pasta w/ bell peppers and onion (no chicken added) and the jerk chicken spring rolls. My food took about 20 minutes to come out (normal when items are cooked to order). I will return.

1st visit. Great service & atmosphere. Stopped in for lunch. Enjoyed my appetizer of Jerk Chicken Spring Rolls. Mango/Pineapple Lemonade was meh. My entree of Curry Chicken, rice & peas w/ double cabbage n coco bread….delish.

They don’t answer the phone. They do require reservations for parties of 6 or more with a requirement to spend $35+ per customer with 20% automatic gratuity. We had to pop in to get reservations for a party of 8 because they didn’t answer and we were not welcomed. After speaking with the waitress (who was actually pretty cool), it felt like they just weren’t in the mood to service us, at a completely empty restaurant. They did have a party of 14 outside though, just not enough workers to accommodate additional customers. This was our first impression. I wouldn’t recommend this place, as bad as we wanted to try them.

My first experience at Jamaican cuisine. It was amazing!! I ordered the jerk chicken with rice/peas, plantains, and cabbage. Surprisingly my meal showed up with oxtails and butter beans as well. I had actually spent some time trying decide between oxtails or jerk chicken. Everything was very tasty!! Had 2 Long Island iced teas that were made perfectly! The waitress was very polite and attentive.

They have the right chef in place at this restaurant. The food was delicious. The food was hot and everything was tasty. I really wanted the ackee and salt fish but that is only sold on Sunday mornings before 1pm. I would’ve came earlier if I would’ve known. I’ve heard people are in lines waiting for that item. However the oxtail tacos was my favorite, the gravy had a sweet taste. The jerk chicken egg rolls were ok, I didn’t see much chicken just mostly cabbage. The crust was cooked to golden perfection and the taste was ok. I would recommend sitting on the back patio for more rooms. They had the heaters on outside which made the experience warm and welcoming. Both times I went they had someone playing some music which also made my experience pleasant. I would recommend this restaurant it was definitely a vibe.

Great location, nice ambiance, server was great, menu was very specific on several “we don’t do”, ” we do” so pay attention to that patrons. Food presentation was good. Food was not bad but everything had a sweetness about it. It was too sweet for me! I don’t like sweet cabbage or oxtails but that’s my preference. For that reason, I give it a three. I’m still searching for excellent Carribean food near me.

Me and my boyfriend were very impressed with this place. The food is top tier…we came during lunch and ordered oxtail tacos, jerk chicken meal, oxtail meal and mango juice…he has not stop talking about this place…there is a reasonable wait for food, attentive service, and great fresh to order food. We will be back to check out the night scene at this gem in Forest Park. The oxtail has a sweet flavor which may not suit all palettes but tasty nonetheless.

I will definitely be visiting again. The waitress “Lil Bit” was amazing! Not only was she a great server, her bartending skills were superb! I ordered a Bahama Mama ( I think) and it was sooo good! The food was good! They have live music Wednesdays on the patio so we sat out there. The weather was nice and the musician was exceptional.

Went here to celebrate my belated birthday with friends. With my birthday being on March 3 and it raining, and switch it to March 4. The waitress was great and food was hot and delicious!!! It was a little slow, yet the DJ for Saturday was the bomb!! Great music.
