I had a great first time experience here. I went for my birthday dinner because I’ve been trying to find somewhere to have an authentic ramen and they did not disappoint at all. It was very delicious I enjoyed every bite and the staff were very sweet and the owner was actually there and even gave me a free dessert for my birthday which was unexpected and they put the ice cream on the side for me too. The establishment was very clean even the bathrooms yet we weren’t the only customers there which is great to see. I really enjoyed it there and do recommend it to anyone, at least for the veggie ramen, I will definitely go again sometime. The only thing the be aware of is later nea closing time there is an axe throwing place right above and I didn’t notice until we were about to leave like 30 minutes before close I’d say but I didn’t notice until very late so just plan your visit earlier I’d say.

We stopped by for dinner. The restaurant is in downtown Macon. The ramen was beautifully presented. The veggie egg rolls were alright. Four stars because they didn’t have Three Taverns sour.

I drove 30 minutes to check this place out and WOW – it was amazing. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the friendliest of bartenders who made me the best old fashioned I’ve ever had – it was smooth and delicious. He also was very good with his food recommendations and steered me in the right direction with my choices. If you are lucky enough I hope you get to meet him, the one and only Julius. I ordered the lemon Basil noodles…so warm, so savory, the shrimp was delicious!!! The one thing I was a bit disappointed on is the fact that I was full and couldn’t finish it. I wish I was staying in GA longer so I could come try every dish on the menu. I don’t know why you wouldn’t give this place a chance, but if you got this far into my review – DO IT.

Made a 2nd trip to Kinjo and equally impressed with the atmosphere, food and craft cocktails. If you are a fan of Mezcal get the Elf on a shelf. It was featured cocktail from holidays and still available and delicious.

Edit: restaurant leadership reached out promptly to explore our experience and continued to follow-up. A refund has been offered. Rating increased to 4 based upon the response of leadership.

Had tried several times to dine here. They seem to have lots of private parties where they close the restaurant to the public. Finally got in. Not a huge menu, but they do well with the items they have. Ramen was very good. You can build your own or choose a house made one. Prices are kind of high. Zues was nice, he was our server.

TLDR: The Tonkotsu Ramen was the most disappointing aspect of the entire meal. The scallops on top of the grits with the sauces on the side were pretty okay, except for whatever was making it taste sweet. The buns were “ok”. The cocktail was expensive for the little bit I got.

The food was over priced as well as overcooked.. the atmosphere was nice for a date night.. but don’t go hungry.. you will leave the same way.. our waitress was nice up until the end when we said the food was still lacking.. despite the redo of 2 of our appetizers.. sour end to our date night.. I don’t see myself returning..
