First off, outstanding meal. The dishes were creative and interesting, the ingredients were top-notch. Amazing to experience Thai flavors transformed in this way. What stands out even more from this meal, though, is the experience. Interacting with the chefs along with the highly curated setting and service all made for a memorable meal. Absolutely worth the slightly higher price tag. Dining at the counter is strongly recommended.

The dishes were not only incredibly flavorful but also showcased a great deal of creativity. The attention to detail in every single aspect was truly impressive. I genuinely felt like I was being welcomed by family during my entire visit. This is a one-of-a-kind dining experience that I cannot recommend highly enough!

Highly recommend, nowadays an omakase with this price already a streal. You will be amazed if you have experienced certain traditional Edo sushi, but wonders the interpretation from an outside, an Thai food chef, the spark between Thai and Japanese. Here is the place. The sauce they using here is magic. Side notes try the pairing sake/wine. They put real effort here and not just showplace popular sake. A experience, a food epic chapter.

A creative, elevated, beautiful mix of Thai traditional dishes (garlic freshwater prawn based on the chef’s grandmother’s recipe), street food (beef jerky on blue sticky rice), and fusion cuisine (sashimi in Thai seafood sauce, wagyu tartare with caviar and, of course, kinkan). The sake pairing menu is well curated and generous. But the real treat is spending some time with chef Nan who works diligently behind the counter, jokes about her cooking failures, shares her love for Thai ingredients, explains her cuisine influences, listens to ideas and feedback, praises her favorite LA restaurants, and pours sake to the guests making this refined gustatory experience a fun, soul-filling, family dinner.

My wife and I got the $150 13-course tasting menu. Certainly a pricey night, but the experience was worth it. Each dish was unique and contrasting. We both enjoyed the food forward experience of the restaurant — simple ambiance and low intervention service. The entire menu was a 2 hour service, and by the end, we were completely satiated and full to the brim but not stuffed beyond believe. Bottles of wine ranged from ca. $65 – $120 and glasses of wine were ca $18 – $25. Gratuity was automatically included in the final bill. I recommend this place highly for a special occasion out and those ready to spend $200+ on unique dinner

Very interesting – never had high end Thai with a Japanese slant to it. Sourced ingredients from all over the world. Service was very good – the waitstaff was super knowledgeable. Outstanding presentation. Casual and classy vibe, which was a cool mix. No other restaurant like it in LA.
